The Hampton Inn Clearfield is one of Clearfield's most popular hotels and is located on Industrial Park Road, Route 879 off Interstate 80 Exit 120. Sleep on Cloud 9 then start your morning with an invigorating shower. Not up to the standards expected
Reviewed By Eric TWe travel to Clearfield, PA a few times a year, and generally stay at a different hotel jus down the street from the Hampton Inn. This time because of a better cancellation policy, we chose the Hampton Inn. Generally a Hampton Inn is know to be a little better than most moderate priced hotels, that is generally why they cost a little more. This Hampton Inn does not live up to those standards, and is much need of some TLC. Let me say first that the staff was very nice, and friendly. Emily the night time front desk person was very helpful. The hotel is dated and much of the furniture in the rooms shows that. The mattress are new, but that is about it. There is a nice size crack in the 1st floor hall that is visible in the tile, and carries under the uneven carpet down the other end of the hall. The sliding glass shower doors are again evidence of the dated hotel. These were not used in most places anymore due to the time and effort to keep them clean. The breakfast is OK, but lacking. Limited healthy choices, and very simple. If you are a coffee lover, beware they only have light roast coffee. Not to fear, Dunkin and Sheetz are just down the street. Over all the hotel was clean, and friendly, but needs work. We will most likely stay at the competitor just down the street next time.

Reviewed By DAVID GWe gave stayed @ this locations several times & have always been satisfied. Disappointed that there breakfast bar wasn't available, due to a water break. But they substituted a grab & go breakfast that was OK but, not the same. All other services were satisfactory, including friendly staff, clean rooms, and swimming.

Reviewed By snakeeyes6Room was very clean and stocked. Bed well made. Had to cancel second day of stay for personal reasons, desk was very understanding and accommodating. Location is great to Route 80, fast food, convenience store across the parking lot.

Reviewed By R6124YBtinasThe hotel was conveniently located off the interstate. The outside of the hotel could use some sprucing up. The others in my group where a little apprehensive from outside appearance. Check in was easy. Desk clerk was friendly. I used points for two rooms. Both rooms were clean. Tv in one room was staticky with unclear picture. We didn’t complain to desk because we used it more as background noise and we basically were just staying for sleep but for some it would be a problem. Some of our group went to the pool and came immediately back. They said the water was cold and the whole area smelled. Smelled bad. The breakfast before we left was a basic breakfast, some hot food with cereals etc as well. I was satisfied with the set up. All in all I’d probably stay there again if I was in the area because of its location near the interstate.

Reviewed By Q3168YXyvonnebStayed in hotel this weekend for PSU football. Hotel is now called Royal Inn Clearfield. No longer Rodeway Inn (but they still have that sign up). It’s great for the price. EXTREMELY clean. New owners. They are super nice too! Only 45 minutes to game.

Reviewed By John HFor years now Every time I get up this way I get a room here, the owner is always nice and friendly, and he takes great pride in this motel, he is always busy doing something around the property, the rooms are well kept and clean, the beds are comfy and new TVs. A short walk over to the Farm Table Restaurant, show your key for a discount.
