Our hotel has been renovated with great location right next to Changhua railroad station. Take High Speed Rail to Taichung station and change to local train heading south within 10mins to arrive.
Not suitable for international traveller
Reviewed By kiranmarvelI had stayed here for 4 days last week. The hotel was just OK. My room did not have even small window. AC was not good. They have mentioned to set it for 16 degrees, but it was almost hot inside the room. The room was very small and there is no wardrobe to hang the cloths too. They have provide small hanger near mirror to hang the cloths. There is no restaurant in this hotel. They say the breakfast is complimentary. But it will not be buffet breakfast. Every day we have to choose from the limited menu and tell them what we want. Then next day they will get them from near by Mc Donalds or other restaurants and give to us. You have to choose only one sandwich or burger with one beverage. Not more than that. Internet is not available just like that. We have to deposit 600 NTD and they will give once wifi device that should be plugged into the LAN port in the room and we can access internet. However internet speed was good. While checking out we have to return the device and collect the money. However there is a 7 eleven just opposite to this hotel where we can buy things and ATM is available in 7 eleven.This place is just next to the Chnaghua train station and that is advantage of this hotel.

Reviewed By Wesley CThis was a business trip. Originally it was for one week. Got booked in a standard room.It was quite spacious. The booking included breakfast. A mix of western and eastern foods. You can certainly fill your belly. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was told it was the best hotel in the city. You need to take a 10 to 15 min walk to get to the city centre. There you can see the fresh food markets and normal retail stores. During April it did start to get a warm. There is a Bunnings like store next to the hotel. My stay was extended by an extra week and they moved me to a Deluxe room. Now this was spacious. As you enter, you enter the living room. There is desk and a couch. The bedroom leads off this room. Again a double / queen size bed. The bathroom is nearly double the size of the standard. My overall experience was terrific. I certainly would return.

This trip I joined a local tour company to re-visit Lukang and was introduced by this tour company (Settour) to this 3-years old hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel. Especially its counter service staff, who are very sincere and willing to go all the way to help their clients when in need.

Nice and new but food needs to improve
Reviewed By chwang3Good about this hotel: Nice and new hotel with plenty of luxury restaurants in it. It is located in a small street with mixture of residential homes and commercial stores. We were here for an overnight stay after a friend’s visit during Chinese New Year. Location is decent, convenience stores and restaurants are within walking distance. Need improvement: We used the breakfast service in the morning and the quality was not on par with the standard on the street. Walk on the street to get better and tastier food. It cost NTD280 per person to have the breakfast. Changhua is famous of its 肉圓 (meat ball) and 控肉 (stewed pork belly).

Accueil humain et chaleureux, hôtel de caractère, emplacement idéal hors des sentiers battus
Reviewed By Michel VÀ 4 minutes à pied de la gare de Changhua, cet hôtel constitue une alternative économique et originale pour quelqu'un souhaitant visiter le centre de Taiwan, grâce au très efficace réseau ferré taïwanais et aux bus qui desservent les principaux sites touristiques comme Lukang, Hsitou ou Shanlinxi (et Baguashan est à 20 min à pied). Construit au début des années soixante, il a conservé tels quels son mobilier et ses installations de l'époque, ce qui lui apporte un cachet vintage, voire historique grâce aux antiquités qui ornent les étages supérieurs. Les chambres standard sont spacieuses, avec une douche à l'italienne dans la salle de bains. Le confort est celui des années 1960, mais le manque de modernisme est largement comblé par le côté humain et chaleureux de l'accueil, qui restera pour nous l'aspect le meilleur souvenir de notre séjour dans cet établissement. Pas de petit déjeuner, mais des "coupons" donnant droit à un repas gratuit par jour parmi trois restaurants voisins (je recommande vivement Ah Chang en face de l'hôtel bien que je n'aie pas pu en profiter comme je l'aurais voulu). Et si vous ne pouvez pas vous passer d'un petit déjeuner à l'occidentale (mais c'est dommage), il y a le Heavenrock Cafe un peu plus bas que la gare.
