Warm welcome, cool room, excellent food... not a great night’s sleep

It is a small two-star hotel on the very edge of Cousellet (a short walk from the SuperU) with a small swimming-pool and a restaurant and bar. We received a warm and professional welcome by the proprietress. Our room was quite small (it was a family room with a double bed and two singles) but clean and wonderfully cool. However, because we were close to the bar area which had live music, we were not able to sleep before midnight and it was quite hard to see my six-year old son crying because he was so tired but the music from the bar would not stop. Perhaps other rooms are better insulated from the noise. The pool/bar area is a nice place to hang out with a lovely view of the Petit Luberon. The staff at the restaurant are friendly and service is good. If you do decide to stay at L’Oasis please, please, please have a meal at the restaurant. Provençal pizza is a wonderful thing but the pizza at L’Oasis takes it to another level - it is absolutely delicious. Having dinner in the evening, watching the golden light on the Petit Luberon, listening to the music and eating some great food makes a great end to the day. If you want to party on a weekend night, it’s an even better place to be. If you need a quiet hotel for a good sleep, perhaps you should book somewhere else and just come here to enjoy the magnificent food.

Gorgeous upscale B&B to visit the area
Reviewed By patoartigasWe stayed four nights in this gorgeous house owned by Ives and Benedicte, who can't be better hostess. Cabrieres is a tiny city which we used as a base to visit other places around like Gordes, L'isle sur la Sorgue, Roussillon, Lacoste, Menerbes. BB12 is an upscale B&B, recently remodeled, full of beautiful art and exquisite good taste details. Parking is free in front of the house. Breakfast was amazing, with home made jam, croissants, yoghurt, cheese and even eggs if you feel like it. Ives is a foodie, so he was sure we went to delicious restaurants every night and even helped us with the reservations. He also recommended places to visit and things to do. The whole stay was great. Thanks a lot Ives and Benedicte. Until next time.

Reviewed By MIchelle TMy husband booked our stay here and out of all the places we stayed during our 3 weeks in France, this was by far the best. The hosts, Luc and Corrine are so kind and friendly. I believe the dogs name was Daisy? She was adorable! Anyway, the rooms and the villa itself are stunning and cozy. The location was perfect for us to go visit lots of stunning villages and sights. Breakfast each morning was so yummy that we got the best start to each day. Luc not only had great restaurant recommendations, he actually called and made reservations for us. We would stay here again and just might the next time we are back in France. Thank you for your hospitality and for the great experience!!

Reviewed By ridergirlWe loved this B&B. Our room was larger then we expected with a sitting area, kitchenette, lots of windows and a covered patio. Everything is modern and clean. The grounds are simply stunning...I don't know how to explain the different levels of peaceful gardens, lots of places to sit and relax. And the fresh figs right off the tree! Breakfast was plentiful with lots of fresh fruit, homemade yogurt and jams, cheeses, etc...and American coffee :) The owners are friendly and helpful with dinner reservations and other suggestions. Plenty of parking on site.

The perfect getaway
Reviewed By Will JHaving stayed here once before for a long weekend a few years ago, my girlfriend and I decided to come back this August for a full week. We are so glad we did as the experience was as good as we remembered, if not better on this occasion! Nadine is the perfect host - touching base with you each day to make sure everything is ok and helpfully offering advice and recommendations on the local area. The location is ideal for exploring the famous hilltop towns in the area - including Gordes, Rousillon and Bonnieux (all under 20 mins by car). The local town, Cabrieres d'Avignon, is delightful in its own right. Our room (Tranquillite) was tasteful, with quiet AC, and cleaned to a high standard daily. There is also a communal kitchen which is very useful should you want to store some provisions for lunch/dinner if you're not eating out everyday. The breakfasts, included in the tariff, are delicious (fresh croissants and bread from the local boulangerie in town), you can even pick fresh figs from the tree next to the outdoor breakfast table (!) and eggs were provided on request. The pool is a real selling point - crystal clear water in a lovely garden area overlooking stunning views of the nearby vineyards and the Luberon. Such a relaxing time here - already looking at returning for a third time next year!
