Wonderful Location
Reviewed By jmary5Our room was huge. We even had space to hang all our laundry. You are right on the edge of the city center. One block and you are on the main street. Museums, churches, the city market all really close by. The breakfast room is a sunroom, the atmosphere is great. We stayed 3 nights and loved it.

Reviewed By marklloyd2022The hotel is very nice. Room was very clean and decently spacious. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly, especially since I did not speak French. Only negative is I was unable to change the thermostat, but that was very minor.

Beautiful rooms and cozy welcoming vibe
Reviewed By nickvnThe hotel is located at a 5 minute drive from the quaint centre of Beaune full of restaurants and bars. The hotel didn’t have a restaurant so plenty of choice in town. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and were made to feel very welcome also due to the very homely vibe we got from this establishment. The decor is very stylish, especially the lounge area full of plush furnishings. Drinks can be ordered from the bar which also serves as the reception and can be enjoyed in the comfy lounge. The room was very nice with an extremely comfortable bed and a large flat screen tv. The bathroom had one of the best rain shower heads I’ve ever had. Unfortunately we did not get to use the wellness area due to lack of time but it was open to guests and looked very welcoming indeed. Breakfast was lovely and very diverse. Finally there is plenty of free parking in front of the property including a free charging station for electric cars which I didn’t hesitate to use. The hotel left a very good impression with us and is definitely a little gem on the route from north Europe to the South. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone in transit or wanting to visite the beautiful town of Beaune. We would definitely stay again.

Great location, but beware of the tiny rooms!!
Reviewed By Miles WCheck in were a little slow and unresponsive - and I was allocated a room on the 4th floor which was smaller than most wardrobes in Premier Inn hotels! The bathroom was tiny. That said - everything was fine - if not totally clean (dead flies on the windowsill), but the bed was comfy and the air conditioning great. Breakfast was very good and the location was perfect. So mixed feelings - not sure I’d come back, but maybe I should book a bigger room next time.

A wonderful discovery
Reviewed By obhi2017We were looking for an overnight stop between Provence and Belgium where we could charge our car. Thanks to its Tesla destination chargers, we discovered the Chateau de Gilly. We had a very relaxing stay, including using its outdoor pool. We opted for a traditional room and were rewarded with a wonderful view of the formal garden, as well as a very comfortable room. There’s no air conditioning but it wasn’t needed during our stay. We look forward to staying here again on our way to/from the south of France.

Room was spacious, cleam and most importantly quiet, airconditioning was quiet and most effective, bed was great. No complaints at all. Highly recommended. Peter

Reviewed By LastHedonistWe stayed for 3 days in the hotel. The location is close to Beaune and you can easily reach all the good restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet. The bedroom is roomy and clean. A very good breakfast. I strongly recommend it.

Excellent location and value for money

Excellent location just off the motorway but only a short walk from the historical centre and a good choice of cafes and restaurants. As the car was packed with belongings pleased to pay 5€ extra for covered parking at the hotel. Hotel staff pleasant and welcoming, room clean and practical for an overnight stay. Definitely stay here again, next time to discover the area and vineyards not just to pass through.

Great location, disappointing service

However, we were disappointed by the fact that we were asked to clean the kitchen and bring out our waste at the end of our stay. We thought that doesn't correspond to the price. We also felt very uncomfortable at the breakfast, because we were surrounded by uncleaned tables with the remainders of other guests' breakfasts. During our breakfast time, we didn't see anyone clearing up the tables, everything was just left as it was. Also, there were no more spoons, and there was no service personnel we could have asked.
