Reviewed By Rick ROur primary reason for the trip was a family death in this area. We used the opportunity to visit cousins that I had not seen in a long time. We were unsure of times, etc. and decided to extend our stay. The staff was most helpful. Housekeeping, mindful of COVID-19, check to see what we needed (just more coffee service). Our suite was clean and comfortable.

Totally depressing and the rooms don't even mention the dirty towels, the bedding, the rubbery floor, a bad smell, they should at least clean with a quality detergent, without water, it had never really happened so badly and I am not one of bad reviews, it is my first and I hope it will be the last. it's a 0!

Reviewed By dm8711This is an average motel on the Interstate. Good for one night. The outdoor pool is not heated but hot tub is at the proper temperature. The motel sits at the end of a street behind a Waffle House and Dunkin Donuts. There were a couple of people experiencing homelessness walking in the area and the street is unlit. We noticed two cars parked in the field East of the motel with people in them on the way in. The following morning my son in law called me from the breakfast area to tell us not to leave our room. He said a mentally disturbed woman came in off the street and threatened to stab him while he was eating breakfast. She threatened another man causing him to spill his coffee all over. She then ran off into the halls of the motel. The staff didn't know her, and she was never located according to the front desk. So.....lock your car? Breakfast was decent.

Reviewed By 145798642This was the dirtiest place we stayed traveling from Florida to Minnesota. Was part of Spring Break crowd and endured the gouging done by hotels so we were desperate. Paid $197 and they charged the deposit fee to credit card even though they deny doing it. Our room reeked of smoke, had dirt in corners, stained upholstered chair, broken in-room coffee pot. Our pajamas reeked the next evening when we took them out of our bags. Was sure I was booked into a smoking room. Ended up here using Choice Plus app…. Have you no standards Choice Plus?

Reviewed By visamastermichiganThis is a fairly new hotel and it is very nice. The front desk staff was excellent as was the breakfast staff. All were helpful and courteous. Our room was fine and clean. The reason for a 4 was the bathroom. It was clean, but there was only one hook to hang anything on and very few (I think one) towel bars. The shower was a walk in, but there was nowhere to hang a towel while in the shower. I threw my towel over the shower door so I could get it after showering. I like soap, not body wash, and there was only a sliver of soap at the sink. The shower head didn’t provide a very strong stream of water. If not for bathroom issues I would give the hotel a 5. Breakfast was nothing great, just typical for a “free” hotel breakfast.

Reviewed By kejoyce00The Dolan House hospitality is unmatched! The rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet. In the morning, we were served a wonderful home cooked breakfast! It is walking distance to downtown and close to many things to do in Brooksville.
