Excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings
Reviewed By jeken100I spent almost one week at this hotel for a conference. I was welcomed by a friend staff that informed me well about all the facilities the hotel could offer. The rooms are large and clean, Looking down to the valley from the balcony is just marvellous. The restaurants serves a large variety of well tasting dishes. Spa facilities are available. I recommend this place for meetings as well as recreation for a family.

Stunning mountain view
Reviewed By SwisssFrankMy day-trip around the Lake of Thun reached this day 1932 mtr at Beatenberg mountain. A fabulous place at the Lake of Thun und what can be reached by boat, car, bus or bicycle. There is paid parking garage. I took the little train to go half way up the mountain, the cable cabin for the next half and walked around on top enjoying a very nice view over the lake and the mountains around. At this Berghaus I took my lunch. It’s a self-service restaurant with space to sit inside and outside. The view is great. I had a chicken-burger with salad and French fries. I will not do that again and next time I’ll stay with salad or a sandwich. The staff is friendly, the price-food I found to high. The high light was to possibility to go down the mountain on a rented trotti-bike. Real fun. My additional tip is to plan your day partially with a ship.

If your looking for a quiet romantic get away this is it! I’ve traveled all over the world. This place is amazing. The location is perfect next to transportation. Making it really easy to get around. Plenty of things to do near by. If you decide to leave the room! The room is incredible with a hot tub and sauna we barely left the room. I highly recommend this place.

Reviewed By zoricaa598We had a lovely stay in this hotel this summer, the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Our appartment was very clean with great views of the lake. The village where the hotel is situated is just above Interlaken and it commands some amazing views of the whole area, including the Eiger peak itself. There are many beautiful waterfalls and other places of interest nearby for daily excursions and lovely walks. My family warmly recommends this hotel with such friendly amazing hosts to others and we will definitely be coming back again!

Reviewed By LottevanwWe had a lovey stay at the Beausite hotel. We had the most warm welcome, Linda and Dani are so nice and helpful! The rooms are nice and cozy, with a beautiful view on the mountains and the lake. The food was very good as well. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Relaxed stay in beautiful location
Reviewed By CamayWe stayed for three nights in a 1st floor room overlooking the Alps and Thunersee Lake with a (shared) balcony. The room and bathroom were spotless with loads of hot water. This is effectively a B&B hotel as there is no restaurant but the hosts are happy for you to picnic on the balcony and provide a small fridge in the room. We took advantage of that on two occasions - the 1st was a planned bread & cheese supper but the 2nd was sort of self imposed as we were bushed after a long hike down from the Nierderhorn and the only two restaurants open in the village were a bus ride away (runs every hour). Our suggestion would be to eat out in Unterseen where there is a great choice of good restaurants around the old square (also an hourly bus ride away). The hosts probably miss a trick in not offering a cheese/ham platter to guests in the evening especially out of season - after a long day out it does seem that you have to go that extra mile to get something to eat.The breakfast is really good, the hosts are incredibly warm and helpful so this little hotel was pretty much perfect for what we wanted to do.

Beautiful experience
Reviewed By binoddhakal23Me and my brother, visited this hotel which is far away from city. We reached there at around 8 in the evening. The room is kinda small but still beautiful. The lady there was very helpful and kind. She helped us with the menu which was in german and and locations to travel. Another lady with tatoos, she is shy but helpful. It was like a family hotel and restaurent, very cosy. We enjoyed the food and service out there, definitely going back.

Lovely Place, Lovely Views
Reviewed By FiddlydollarsWe stayed four nights in the one bedroom apartment. The whole place was spotlessly clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and it was delightful to have a leisurely breakfast, listening to the cowbells in the distance and with wonderful views of the mountains (when the fog cleared!). Ula was a great host and provided us with lots of local knowledge and information. There were stairs from the driveway up to the chalet and again up to the apartments but Ula was insistent on helping with the luggage. As we had a car, we were able to nip into Beatenberg for snacks at the local bakery. It was a 10/15 minute drive into Interlaken where there were a lot more amenities. We would not hesitate to stay here a again and are already planning our next trip. Always look on their own website first before booking as it may be cheaper. We found their website to be thorough and the photographs really reflect how the property looks in real life.
