Reviewed By dollyc131Very clean. Front desk clerk- she was very helpful and nice. Room was a really nice size and super clean. We got a double queen...one of the queen beds was hard and the support base was making noises. Other than that, it was quiet and good stay.

Reviewed By vaca6789Very clean hotel. The tub was amazing and relaxing. Very easy check in. The only thing I would recommend is updating the hotel. Some of the furniture is outdated. The staff there were very friendly. The pool was very clean as well. I would stay here again.

Reviewed By 549barbwFront desk staff very helpful, courteous and friendly. Shared info on good restaurants in the area where the best place to park our car for unloading. Room was clean, beds comfortable and the TV remote worked! Grab and Go breakfast was good and was made with plant based protein.

Reviewed By littletmThis is a very nice, modern hotel. Reasonably priced with very good amenities. The restaurant is superb - much better than the typical moderately priced hotel offers. Prices were very reasonable and the quality was outstanding. Our room was above the outdoor seating area for the bar. That was a little loud. Still, we'll stay here any time we're in the Ashland area again.

Terrible demeanor from the lady at night
Reviewed By analemusrWe were driving Miami Boston to drop of at University. We had driven 14 hours. My daughter and I arrived and all I was greeted with was “ID”…. So I proceed. My husband had made the reservation since I was driving. The hotel was under his name. We have different last names. The lady said she needed a phone call from the person to let me check in. I said to her, my daughter has the same last name and has her license. Her response was “she is not 21”. At this point I thought this was insane and just wanting to be difficult. Does it matter that she was 18? All we needed is to show we were the people from the reservation. Her demeanor continued. She was not professional not friendly, not helpful. Then as I was talking on the phone to my husband asking him to send me to another hotel because the lady would not check me in (granted this is in the middle of nowhere and who is going to just show up, give the name of the reservation and take the room for the night and offer a credit card for incidentals, seriously!!)…. I told her, my credit card and the card, the reservation was made under is the exact same number, as proof of identity. Still said no. I showed my phone with the reservation from Marriot Bonvoy, still said no. She was not happy that I said she was really difficult. Calls the manager on the phone who is less qualified than her and requested an email from my husband. At 10pm. I was furious. I put him on speaker and he said “can you please just have her checked in so we can move forward”… She said “absolutely” now I could have been speaking to any male. My son, my husband, my uncle, my brother, my dad, and she took that as a go and not my daughter’s ID or my credit card number……. I have been traveling under him making the reservations for the past month since my kids and I had a lot of traveling to do. We had stayed at 6 Marriots in 1 month. Not once was I treated like this. you need to have zero common sense to not help a customer who can show an id and a credit card under the same file. SEriously. Bad training, bad face to the customer. Terrible. This trip was saved when my daughter had left her wallet next morning as we left and she called back to ask for it. The gentleman at the front desk was efficient, professional, helpful and very kind in holding our wallet. Pick another place if you don’t want to be treated as a 2nd class citizen by some of the staff. I got an apology by one of the ladies, not the one who was terrible, but one who witnessed the whole thing.

Reviewed By China451Booked this hotel for two nights as we explored the Louisa area. Our criteria on a 2 star hotel is does it look clean, smell clean, is the water hot does the toilet flush and absolutely no bugs. I liked the hotel and the staff was pleasant. Breakfast had the usual waffle maker and sausage gravy and biscuits by far the largest selection we had seen on our budget hotel trip. We were in room 200 and had everything we expected, TV/microwave, etc. Waffle house is down the street as well as Walmart and a Marathon gas station. We walked down to the Walmart as I was tired of driving. It is on a highway so probably better to drive the 3 - 4 blocks.

Reviewed By 140juanitasThis was a nasty hotel to stay in..The first room the toilet wouldn’t flush and a slug was in the bathtub so the second room was worse then it..I took pictures to show the front desk but they didn’t care to see..The room was dirty and has ashes on the floor n behind night stand..The blankets had burn holes in them, the top sheet I wasn’t sure what was on it, looked like chewing tobacco spit or pop was all over the side of bed, Subway napkins with who knows what on them..I will not stay here or tell anyone else to stay for that matter..Something needs done..The manager was supposed to call me the next day but she never did so that don’t say much about that..
