The Comfort Uve Alcobendas hotel has 93 rooms (including two suites) and is located in the center of Alcobendas in one of the best business and residential areas of Madrid, a few minutes from the International Airport Madrid-Barajas Airport, Fairground Juan Carlos I (IFEMA) and near business parks Alcobendas, San Sebastian de los Reyes and the Moraleja. Opposite the hotel is located shopping center "La Vega" where you will find a wide range of trendy shops and leisure. We also have immediate access from the A1 (Ctra Burgos, exit 14 and 17), and two subway stops (line 10) "The Moraleja" and "Marques de Valdivia" apenass both located 400 meters from the hotel and it may communicate with Madrid.
Stolen Item and rude staff
Reviewed By G1926OKgeorgiahOn day 1 we asked for the room to be cleaned whilst we were out exploring the area. When leaving our room, our suitcases were left open on the floor with valuable possessions left on the side including perfume, woke laptop/phone jewellery as we expected these items to be safe within our locked room. Upon our return we found our possessions had been rummaged through with our suitcases being emptied and couldn’t locate a perfume bottle (£150 value). The next day we spent the day searching for the missing item which was not located. To our knowledge this is the only item that was taken but have yet to fully go through our suitcases which were tampered with. We reported the item missing to reception after we throughly checked our room to which we were told the staff were aware of the perfume ‘incident’. When questioned they said upon arrival to the room the perfume was already smashed. This was inaccurate as the item was not left on a smashable surface and we would not have reported the item missing had we broken it ourselves. The staff failed to apologise or inform us of the incident, and when questioned all staff were knowledgeable about the ‘incident’. After trying to resolve the situation, they then accused us of having smashed the bottle ourselves instead of offering to rectify the situation or offering a solution. The item was obviously stolen as we didn’t smash it and, had they accidentally smashed the perfume whilst cleaning, the room would have smelled potent given it was a brand new, full bottle of perfume. We asked to speak to the manager who was rude, changed her story multiple times after consulting with back of house, laughed at us and said she couldn’t understand us despite speaking perfect English. We were also told to “f*ck off” and to contact the police if we wanted anything done about the situation. Would not recommend staying here.

I have been on different Ibis and on this have seen this special issue related food that doesn't understand. Room and service was according I was looking for.

Reviewed By lejandroCGIf you do not have your own means of transport, it is very uncomfortable to get to or from the hotel. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is very clean and the landscape from the rooms is wonderful, from your bed you can see the sunrise and it is beautiful. It is far from Madrid city and it is difficult to get there at night. It is closer to the airport, but it is also far from it. The facilities are very new, beautiful and clean.

Reviewed By 843joer843Friendly staff, but the hotel needs updating. The bed was rock hard, I mean as hard as floor hard and the aircon took a day to bring the room down to a comfortable temperature. The only meal served is breakfast, there is no bar and no tea / coffee in the rooms. The rooms are dated, lots of wear and tear For the price, I expected more a lot more. Sorry but I will not be going back.

Reviewed By E9011KIstephanierRead before deciding to stay here So arriving in madrid I wanted to use public transport to get to this hotel however the nearest station to this hotel is la granja no one has ever heard of this train station and didn’t know which line I had to take I took the train from the airport and went to atocha which seems to be the main train station for all lines then no one knew where I had to go I ended up getting a taxi which cost me €40 arrived at the hotel which for a budget hotel is good enough I paid £62 through ba holidays which Inc breakfast the room was okish had twin beds there’s a telly the air con I couldn’t work it out seemed to blow warm air!!! Bathroom was a good size however the shower was terrible hot water but the pressure was awful there’s dove amenities avail in the bathroom which was nice the fact we came here and the heat was really hot I could of done with cold air as the room was quite stuffy !! The hotel location if u don’t have a car is Terrible and not much to do if u want to eat there is a tapas restaurant at the ibis hotel which is across the road but that was really expensive so stopped there for a few drinks also get complimentary olives and nuts which was nice there is a food outlet over the motorway called heron diversia but u have to get a cab there cost €7 there wasn’t much in food wise there which I found really disappointing no tapas!!! Ended up at Tgi Friday which wasn’t anything to rate about either The breakfast at the hotel was simple wasn’t anything to sing and dance about personally wish I stayed in central madrid tbh but I was only here for 1 night!!!

Reviewed By wayne pThe hostal which was selected by the fact that it is only a short distance from the main route to Santander and the ferry terminal ,We were going to the UK to see our first Greatgranddaughter driving from Alicante on the Costa Blanca and because of the distance and my wife is disabled I decided that the trip would have to be in two halves. The Staff were very welcoming and helpful ,There is a lift and free parking , the room and ensuite were spotless and availed myself of the free wireless internet connection,Beds are clean and comfy.. there is no restaurant but a small bar and breakfast is DIY with Toaster and coffee .a decent overnight stop

Nice basic hotel if visiting the area
Reviewed By JreamerClean lobby and rooms. Not the most modern decor, but as a visiting sports team it was fine for the group. Rooftop pool is welcome in the heat, but is shallow (not for doing laps) and there is plenty of seating outside. Buffet breakfast is only ok.

Reviewed By karenstravelreviewsIf I could give this hotel a zero star , I would. I stayed at the hotel Miraflores a few months ago. I came with my mum , dad and brother and we saw the hotel and came in. The staff were rude . we asked for two double rooms but only had one twin vacant so it was mum and dad, and me and my sister sharing. the room was disgusting and I was almost sick when saw the bed covers had orange stains on them . the bathroom was not very pleasant and I refused to use it. I visited the public toilets which were much better. Do not come here.
