I’m almost reluctant to write a review as that means more people will find this amazing venue and we might not get a room! Cortijo del Marqués is beautiful… a piece of paradise in the middle of nowhere! The grounds are impeccable and the restaurant is fantastic… however the owners and staff are the real gems! Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely couple who run the hotel and the excellent staff. We will be going back 100%. We’ve rated it 5 stars as that is the most I can give, otherwise I’d give 10 stars! Wonderful. Mike and Mandy

Great Value - So quiet and comfortable!
Reviewed By Janet MWhat a great surprise. For 55 euros a night, we weren't expecting much, but this place was great! Very clean, quiet, and comfortable! The restaurant on site was also excellent, and you could tell the manager took pride in the food he served. Parking for free on site, and great WIFI!

Reviewed By lilipopit26I recommend this hotel for two main reasons - free parking and close to a metro station that could take you to granada in a short time. It is also very clean and cozy. Don't miss the mercadona supermarket on the way to the metro station. The break is not the best but it's the spanish basic - cheese, ham, cofee, juice, croissants.

Good choice for prize
Reviewed By ceppo2Easy to drive to the hotel, close to the motorway from Malaga. Free parking as well on the street. Very nice staff, rooms are well furnitured with a nice bathroom with very good hot shower. Breakfast was good. 10 minutes walking distance from the metro to Granada. There is no 24 hours front desk, recepctiom time from 08:00AM to 21PM. The hotel is in industrial area, so it noisy early in the morning.

Reviewed By QuartilhoI loved the price/service in this one. 1 room with 2 beds for 40€ with breakfast, very clean room and big as well. I was very satisfied with Tocina, it is in an industrial zone but it's close to town center so i would repeat the experience. Free wi-fi as well.

Friendly and comfy
Reviewed By Eugenie PWe only stayed 1 night but we were due to arrive by 9pm. Typical our flight was delayed and we had trouble with our hire car, sent a message to the hotel and got an immediate response that they knew about the delay and somebody would be awaiting our arrival no problem. When we arrived we were met by a great receptionist who was extremely helpful and welcoming. Great rooms, clean and everything you could need, except a kettle in the morning, strange Brit habit!! Our rooms had a balcony and a large bathroom. Plenty of free parking in the side streets or an underground car park owned by the hotel, I think there may be a charge for this. Breakfast was good although we choose to go into the attached coffee shop a little later. Highly recommended

It has free Wi-Fi, and a swimming pool open in the summer. 10 minutes by car from the city centre, and 15 minutes by the ring road to the Alhambra. The Villa Blanca’s rooms have marble floors and modern tiled bathrooms. All rooms have a flat-screen TV. There is also a bar. The hotel is located next to the A-92 motorway, and just 1 km from the A-44 motorway. Granada city centre can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. The hotel is also 15 minutes from the airport and 35 minutes from the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Reviewed By Pamir ÇSome reviews mention ocean view, well that is possible but via a telescope perhaps because nearest sea side, which is Motril, is around 70km away. If you read reviews mentioning ocean view and city center, just ignore them. This is not that Villa Blanca. That one is in Morocco. Well about the hotel, why do a tourist goes to Granada? For Alhambra and flamenco obviously. Hotel is far away from both attractions. Also the hotel is old and rooms are small. Still if this hotel offers you reasonable price, you should take it. It is not a bad place to stay, i have been in worse.

Reviewed By 523paulmThe location was separated from everything but a gas station with no public transport nearby. When we entered, the first thing we saw was an overflowing trash can. In every direction you could see “cheap”. The employees were nice and helpful but there were not enough of them to address all of the problems. There seems to be an occasional backup of sewer gases that leaves an awful smell in the room, but this only happened once. The cheapness was most obvious in the buffet. While not terrible, everything was made with the cheapest of ingredients. There is no experience of the fine cuisine of Granada in this hotel.
