COLD BREAKFAST that should have been hot!
Reviewed By Elizabeth AThe room was very clean & spacious. Staff was friendly. The reason for a 3 rating is breakfast was not a full typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast. No pancake machine. The food (eggs, meat, biscuits & gravy) were stone cold!!!!! There was not the option of heating them up in the microwave. Not acceptable.

Reviewed By DAHE5476This was our second stay in this motel.We stayed in a 2 bed room for 1 night while driving home from Florida. We love the convenience of backing the car right up to the door of our room for easy unloading. Also, because if the direct access to the outside, it’s possible to air out the room, an extra safety measure in these Covid times. There’s nothing fancy about the room, but the beds are comfortable and everything is clean. The staff was very friendly. We always travel with a small white noise machine, so the highway traffic sounds were not a problem for us.

What a difference a few miles makes
Reviewed By theifetzLast week, I stayed at a pretty bad Days Inn south of Atlanta. This one was the opposite. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. And the price was right, too. The room was clean, everything worked and most things looked up to date. There were a few rough spots... touch up paint was needed in the bathroom and the floor needed some help. But most everything was fine. The people were friendly and the location cannot be beat... right off I-75. My only gripe. The "light breakfast" was granola bars and coffee. At least provide donuts or muffins or something. But really, this place is a good deal.

Reviewed By KalisWatcherMy daughter and I have been traveling for a while and were looking for a pet friendly hotel in the Cartersville GA area. We called Wyndham rewards to find a place. The reservation line suggested Super 8 in Acworth. When we arrived, the man behind the desk said they charge $10 per pet per night (our reservation was for 14 days, 3 cats, one medium dog). I have never paid such a high fee for our pets (all are fully vetted) and we carry our own cleaning supplies to maintain our space where ever we go... To add to that, they charged a $50 deposit which was not disclosed until he gave us the estimated charges. When we went to the room, the floors were not cleaned and one of our cats found a roach in the bathroom. I found one later on the sink counter. Needless to say, we cleaned the counters, the dresser, and the table with chairs as we settled in. Their coffee maker was nasty, the ironing board was falling apart and their phone book was from 2015-2016. Over the next two days we dealt with "house keeping" - an older couple who do not speak English and insisted on coming into the room (the woman walked in while my daughter was partially undressed). I spoke to the front desk and the woman said they have to come in everyday because of the pets. Bear in mind, they do not provide a "Do not Disturb" for the door, so I had to write one myself. I have an issue with being discriminated against because of our pets, harrased each day, and over-charged. We decided to leave after four days. We cleaned the room, stripped the beds and took pictures. The morning we left, there was another roach on the counter... At check-out, the woman said she could not finalize our bill until the person who checked us in arrived. She promised to email the receipt. We have yet to receive it. They charged the full amount when we checked-in, although she said it was a temporary hold, and refused to give a final amount. Bottomline line, go to Home2 ? just up the road. A little more money, but they treat you like a valued guest and give you housekeeping when YOU need it. (Note: my daughter took the roach pictures so I was not able to upload those... These are from my phone).

Good overnight stop on road trip
Reviewed By Sue DWe stayed at this hotel on our way back from Florida to Ohio. We got in late after a long day driving. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable - we got a great night's sleep. There was a group of college athletes staying at the hotel so the breakfast area was really crowded in the morning. We got down to breakfast about 9:15 (closes at 9:30). There was only one woman working at the breakfast buffet and she was working hard to keep cooking more food and bring it out to keep the buffet replenished. She did a great job!! She kept the breakfast area open past 9:30 to make sure everyone had a chance to eat. I didn't get her name but she should be commended for her hard work. I would definitely stop here again next time we go back and forth to Florida.

Reviewed By pettyjohnsrIt is unfortunate. We are new to Wyndham Rewards. This one was not good. In kind words, it was unclean; not vacuumed (toe nails clippings on the floor); unmaintained; stains on sheets and furniture; broken toilet seat; and simply messed up. I've traveled for business for 24 years. Had I not been on the road for 12 hours and needed a place to lay my head, I would've left. We still had another 9 hours ahead, so we were exhausted. Do not stay here. Do not stay here. Do not stay here.

Reviewed By PetOwner-TapThis has to be the most minimalistic place I’ve ever stayed at. Two very old sets of towels of which one was dirty. Felt like I was drying off using a luffa brush instead of a towel. At 5 pm the lobby was closed & you had to use the night window to register which meant no access to coffee. No problem, I’ll fix a cup of coffee in my room or so I thought. Guess what? No coffee pot in the room. The woman who checked me & my two friends into our 3 rooms was not friendly & not communicative at all. Somehow she managed to use my credit card to pay for 2 of the 3 rooms even though we each gave her our own credit cards. At check out I mentioned to the man behind the counter that my towel was dirty & that the ironing board was broken. All he said was “that’s housekeeping “ & didn’t even offer an apology. The furniture was nice & the bed was very comfortable.

No quality at Quality Inn
Reviewed By marvinsJ1319DXOn April 9, 2022, my wife and I stayed at Quality Inn in Acworth, Ga. We wanted an early start to the next morning. During the night, 10:30pm., a person came into our room startling us awake. Quickly this person left after I confronted him. When we left at 4am, our room key no longer worked as we loaded our car. Communicating to the person on staff was useless as he offered no help from what happened hours earlier. My wife was so frightened she never went back to sleep, but the person at the front desk didn't seem to care or even know what to do. We followed up with the hotel manager, again no apology after they had double booked the room, and she offered little help to make the situation right. After a number of phone calls, I asked for the general manager to call me, never happened. In the business world protecting one's reputation after making such a terrible mistake would be a priority, but not for this hotel chain. They didn't apologize and eventually offered a 50% refund. If you have a family with children, or you are an older couple, I strong recommend not staying at this hotel. The rooms are only fair, but the service and safety are poor.

Poorly ran Hotel
Reviewed By josieillinoisI don't usually write Negative reviews . Felt I needed to make an exception. We were traveling to IL from FL. and phoned ahead because it would be late when we arrived. We had reserved two rooms. The lobby is closed so everything is done through the night window. There were two people working, and neither seemed to have any idea how to do a check in. It took at least 20 min. We had been on the road 10 hrs and ready for a bed. The rooms were clean and the beds were ok. The process to check out was just as slow. There was no breakfast. If you are tired, or in a hurry might want to find another, more efficient ran Hotel.
