Nice and dynamic place
Reviewed By jeromep281I spent 3 nights there in a shared room. The place is clean, staff always smiling and ready to help you, food is good and the atmosphere is pretty cool ! You also have a big place where you can lock your valuable things, which is great when you don't want to carry everything on you ! I also tryed the Ostello Bello Bagan and it was all the same !

Overall good, but last day was ruined by food poisoning
Reviewed By Ansh_VarOverall the private room I had booked was fine. Concrete floor. Helpful staff, very good location. Shared bathroom is fairly clean. The hostel is okay on the socia side, not great, although they don't organise events themselves. However, on the last day I had some eggs which I most definitely got FOOD POISONING from later on in the day. This completely RUINED the whole day. Two things would help, however. The rooms themselves could do with a mirror, this wouldn't be hard to do so I am really not sure why this has not been done. It would help with getting ready in the morning/evening. I noticed that my room was not serviced daily, not sure why, but upon reading the other reviews here it seems it SHOULD have been. If they can solve those issues this hostel probably would have at least four stars.

Reviewed By Jesus-V-F-HStayed for three days. The place is a little far from the center, so advisable to rent a scooter. The installations are kind of broken and our bathroom was been eaten by the humidity in a serious level. Besides that the pool was in good condition and the service was good.

Rude staff ruined it for me
Reviewed By CjazzsPlace is cheap and the beds are comfy but don't expect friendly or helpful staff. Not to say that's regarding all of them but one in particular who doesn't even let you put your feet up on the sofa because it was touching the pillow, let alone smile. The breakfast is poor (literally just had rice and bread) but it's free. Don't bother having a chill day to watch a film because the power goes off hourly which means so does the Wi-Fi which gets very irrating. Apart from the cons, the place is clean and for the money it's not bad but one member of staff could be less rude and friendlier, not what you need when you're just trying to feel comfortable where you're staying.

Reviewed By sammK3093ENHaving travelled around a lot of Myanmar, I've been playing the Myanmar beer cap game where every time you buy a beer, you check under the cap and you may have won 500 kyats, 1,000 kyats, a free beer etc. All over Myanmar, if you sell Myanmar beer you honour the winnings. I've had it honoured in bars, hostels, even villages whilst hiking between cities. Bagan Vibes is the first place who have first refused to honour the winnings, then said they'll honour them if I pay a 500 kyats processing fee (nowhere else charges this and they already charge 2,800 kyats per beer whilst shops charge under 2,000 and bars / restaurants charge 2,500). There is no reason to add unnecessary fees and the sole reason is to rinse you for more money, and whilst I realise it is a small fee, I disagree with it entirely. When I pointed all these facts out, they told me to go somewhere else (even though I'm a guest). It's poor service and the only reason it's not getting one star is the pool is nice.
