Very Kind Staff
Reviewed By gloryredstarStayed for a night. The furniture was old but the services provided was excellent. Another downside was there was no lift available so we had to carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor. The set lunch served in the restaurant for delicious and it included a bottle of wine as well.

The worst experience ever
Reviewed By Jordi CIn a few words, if you go there you will waste your money and the time. Imagine that your hated enemy invites you for lunch and you also have to pay 60 eur!!! The waiters and even the owner treat you like hell on earth. Maybe the subsidiary of hell is in Durro. Do not go, that's all.

El día siguiente montaña y a la vuelta tenemos la intención de agruparnos todos en el refugio. La puerta cerrada por dentro y cuando el guarda nos abre la puerta en tono muy grotesco y maleducado nos dice que el refugio solo es para los que duermen … le decimos que nuestro grupo está dentro y nos responde que cuáles son nuestras intenciones y le decimos tomar unas cervezas juntos… en ese momento dice valeeee… La verdad es que decidimos irnos. No se puede tratar a nadie con ese poco respeto y esos modales tan poco respetuosos!!! En la página web del refugio pone que funciona como bar pero con esa mala educación mejor ir a otro sitio y gastarnos el dinero en alguien que al menos nos trate como a personas!

Reviewed By Susan BWe totally enjoyed our 4 days here. The family that runs the Xalet is super firendly and helpful. They always have smiles on their faces. The dinners were absolutely delicious. My fellow traveler mentioned that she would prefer non-gluten and they had non-gluten for her at every meal without her asking again. The grounds are beautiful. When I needed to contact my next night's lodging and my phone didn't work, they were happy to make a call for me. I would absolutely stay here again if I were in the area

Reviewed By 868edStayed here on my own in the second week of September, which was very quiet. The hostel's location is ideal as a base to explore NP Aigüestortes's west side. The rooms were very clean and cozy with a modern bathroom, lockers and a nice view of the town and valley. The staff was very friendly and provided hiking information. Breakfast was very decent and included local products. Great experience!

Lovely hostel
Reviewed By Danielle RStayed here for one night after a day of skiing at La Molina. The hostel itself was great - they had plenty of space for us to leave our things in the morning before our room was ready, provided sheets and blankets and plenty of central heating!, and a self service breakfast of bread, fruit, cereal etc was included in the reasonable price. It's definitely one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in. Only downside is the location - we came by train, which was ideal as the hostel is a very short walk from the station, and a bus could take us from the hostel to the ski resort itself, but there is very little in the village itself, no supermarket or shops, and only a couple of bars, meaning that without having a car with us there wasn't much for us to do in the evening. However, the large common room in the hostel did make up for this somewhat.
