Good location, room needs improvements
Reviewed By AleksandraKebicThe best thing about this accommodation was the location (perfect walking distance to the old town and beaches) and pleasant hosts. Also, dogs can stay free of charge. The room though needs some serious improvements. The furniture was old and almost falling apart and there wasn't any AC in the room, so it was very hot to sleep in. The bathroom in the room is connected to another shared bathroom in the hallway, so we could here people going in and out of it. Once, the smell from that other bathroom was so unbearable, that it woke us up in the middle of the night - it was like sleeping in the sewers. If the rooms are improved, this can be a very pleasant place to stay, but at the moment it's just average.

Bellissima vacanza
Reviewed By Roberto CZorica è una persona estremamente cordiale, sempre con il sorriso, sempre disponibile e mai invadente. Quando sono arrivato con mia moglie, ci ha accolto con un aperitivo e ci ha invitato a parcheggiare la moto al coperto nel suo garage che di notte viene chiuso. La sua casa è pulitissima e la nostra camera con bagno era dotata di aria condizionata che si è rilevata utilissima nelle calde notti, e la terrazza della camera (molto grande) ci permetteva di fare colazione all'aperto godendo delle vista in lontananza di Rab "vecchia" .La cucina, se serve, è in comune con gli altri ospiti e a disposizione ci sono due frigoriferi. La posizione della casa è ad un paio di minuti a piedi dal centro di Rab, cosa utilissima per non dover muovere il mezzo alla sera. Quando siamo andati via, Zorica ci ha salutato con un graditissimo omaggio, oltre che al suo simpatico e dolce sorriso. Consigliatissima questa struttura. Ciao Zorica e grazie. P.s. Sympathique location
Reviewed By Suzanne JL'appartement se trouve dans une grande maison en bord de route et face à un petit port, donc vue sur mer. Grande terrasse, très agréable. Chambre pas très grande, wi fi moyen. Très bon accueil de notre hôtesse. Parking gratuit facile.

Reviewed By JokelifePositiv: die Eigentümerin Jasna ist freundlich und spricht gut Deutsch. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick hat eine schöne Aussicht. Das Haus ist direkt am Wasser und hätte man ein kleines Boot, gibt es direkt davor eine Anlegestelle. Gute WLAN Verbindung. Negativ: -Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Die Hitze ist garnicht Mal das schlimme, sondern die Mücken im Zimmer! - Unser erstes Zimmer hatte keinen Fernseher. Was will man da bei einem verregneten Tag machen...nachdem wir das Zimmer wechselten hatten wir einen uralten mini-Röhrenfernseher - Frühstück ist sehr einfach gehalten....Brot, Marmelade, Käse, Salami, Cornflakes und gekochte Eier. Schlimmer ist eher die Uhrzeit, nur von 8-9Uhr Frühstück!! Und das im Urlaub -der Strand ist zwar direkt am Haus aber nicht einladend zum Baden. Das Wasser ist durch die Anlegestelle nicht sauber, wir man es sonst von Kroatien gewohnt ist. - UNERTRÄGLICHER Gestank im Bad. Hat wohl etwas mit dem Abfluss zu tun, aber auch die Eigentümerin konnte nicht weiterrhelfen. sie meinte man müsse das Wasser eine Weile Laufen lassen...na toll, hat aber nicht geholfen - Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig und Matratzen sich durch gelegen bzw. man spürt jede Fedr Fazit: Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft nicht weiter und werden es nicht wieder buchen. Preis pro Nacht 55€

feeling like member of the family
Reviewed By Martin LThe apartments are nice, very clean, and the location next to the children-friendly beach with flat, almost sandy closed beach is just perfect. Not too far from restaurants and boating, but far enough to keep the noise of other tourists out of reach. Staff is treating us like family members, extremely helpful (owner checked a boat mooring place for us and helped finding a slip location on the mainland). This is the first Hotel ever, which had my name-to-number stored in his cellphone even before arrival - (some big hotel chains dont even remember my invoice address after staying with them for more than 100 times ...) There are good restaurants nearby, a shuttle to the main city and to the mainland ferry. Parking is available in front of the house. Shopping and sightseeing is relaxed at the pittoresc town of Rab (the family even offered to accompany us going to the fish market and negotiate some 'fresh' deals !) There are lots of small bays around Rab to spend the day in the sun, you may want to rent a boat to explore the calm and crystal-clear waters. All-in-all very recommendable, exceptional service at good price and big kudos to the owners !

Really nice hotel!
Reviewed By ElisKau13We returned after 3 years break and we must say, it was better than before (and it had been really good before). The hotel is ran by a realy nice family, it is clean and with a gym and a kids playing room. There is also a small garden with shadow and place to sit. The cuisine is really very tastefull, fresh and local. You can choose from two main dishes and there is also soup, starter,salat and desert. I only miss a small fridge in the room. The shallow sandy beach is in aprox. 350m distance and there are many lovely natural beaches easily reached by a car. You can swim every day on a different place. There are shops, bakery, fruits, apotheke and doctor really near (max. 200-300 m.). I recommend the hotel for the great owners, cuisine and cleanlines.

Cordialità e gentilezza
Reviewed By Alessandro SLa cordialità e la gentilezza dominano su tutto in questa famiglia di locatari. La pulizia e l'ordine che abbiamo trovato al nostro arrivo, non li abbiamo sempre trovati. Appena esci dal vialetto di casa sei sui piccoli moli di Barbat, la camminata lunga una decina di chilometri, a torno moltissimi piccoli ristoranti e bistrot. Assolutamente consigliato

Reviewed By Laura BPer il nostro scopo, Villa Rossa è in perfetta posizione: a meno di 2 minuti a piedi dal Kron diving center, dal ristorante- trattoria Dupin e dal supermercato. La cura dei dettagli e delle necessità dell'ospite sono di ottimo livello.

Reviewed By MASSIMO MNon indugiate a prenotare questa attrezzatissima struttura posta lungo la strada principale dell isola, ma comunque riparata e tranquilla, in mezzo al verde e vicino al mare, e alla camminata che porta in 15-20 minuti a rab town. Consiglio k appartamento con 2 camere da letto x avere l auto di fronte alla porta di casa.

Lovely family holiday
Reviewed By oficialnimailThe location of this place is good, very close to the beach. Beach is small with stones, for big sandy beaches you have to travel a few kilometres. The apartmet is very spacious with a big balcony, washing machine and drying machine which was useful too. We were surprised it wasn't equipped with toiletries, we had to buy toilet paper, dishwashing liquid and capsules and even bin bags! This spoilt the first impression of overall good place. The owner kind and friendly, but again upon our arrival we got just two pieces of information - password for wifi and how remote control worked! Crazy as we don't find this important at all. Just below our windows is a little parking place and a restaurant which got a bit noisy at night so we had to keep windows closed in order not to be disturbed while sleeping. But apart from these few drawbacks the place is neat and clean and the location is good, especially if you don't prefer crowded places.
