In the district 08028, one of the best areas of Barcelona, commercial and financial center, connected from just outside the building with the city through the subway station of Les Corts, just 15 minutes from downtown and the beach, near the Barcelona Sants Station, Barcelona Fair, the Palace of Congresses and the Camp Nou (FC Barcelona stadium) we have a new building of apartments and rooms fully equipped and decorated to make your stay in Barcelona a unique experience.

Given the price we paid we weren't expecting much, however the two bedroom apartment we had exceeded all our expectations. It was a good size with a decent kitchen and living area and two good sized bedrooms. There were plenty of places to eat and drink in the vicinity and Barcelona City centre was easily accessible via the metro station right outside the building. Finally the guys on reception were more like tourist guides than receptionists and they were more than happy to recommend local restaurants etc and give more general information about the city. All in highly recommended especially if your visit entails a trip to see FC Barcelona.

The flats are spread over 8 floors, with 2 lifts. The studios and 1-bedroom flats are air-conditioned and offer large spaces and equipment designed to make your stay enjoyable. By choosing the Preferred Location option, and depending on availability, you can book a flat on the first floor facing the street and an air-conditioned office-style studio. There is also the possibility of flats with a terrace for an extra charge at the establishment.

Apartment We Booked Was Unavailable, Apartment We Got Was Dirty...
Reviewed By sfjewe1sWe confirmed our reservation two weeks before our arrival, but upon check-in we were given keys to a downgraded apartment without the receptionist saying a word. We realized it was the wrong apartment as soon as we got in and I contacted reception. The concierge came up to the apartment with a 5 euro bottle of wine and said that yes, it was the wrong/downgraded apartment and they were very sorry. She offered to check their other properties for a bigger apartment but was unable to find an alternative until the following day, meaning we would have to pack up and move our stuff again. After spending a couple hours in the apartment, and encountering dirty floors, dirty dishes, a bathroom trash can full of someone else's horrifying, soggy mung, a disconnected tv, a broken hairdryer, a shower that spontaneously scalds if any other water is used simultaneously, we were seriously tempted to move to another hotel or to wait and try the "better" room the next day. We had been traveling for two weeks at this point, so we chose the path of least resistance, regrettably. The neighbors kept us up until 12:30am and then work up at 4:30am to noisily pack and leave. How many times does a sane person call the front desk? We made four calls, then just kept a list and went to a museum. The apartment we moved to after our morning trip to the Sagrada Familia was actually the apartment we had booked, and it was clean and lovely. We enjoyed our last day and requested a refund for our first night, which was declined, which is why I have taken the time to write this review. They gave us half off the first night and said we should have called them to notify them of all the things we found wrong/dirty/broken or otherwise. One must not be too sensitive about cigarette smoking while in Europe, because it is still very common, but I was particularly surprised how much smoking there was in this apartment complex and even had a lit cigarette butt bounce off my shoulder as it was dropped off a higher balcony in the outdoor hallway. Pros: the building was cool esthetically - industrial loft chic, the rooftop pool looked nice, but was swarmed with kids and closed at 7 so we never used it, the neighborhood was pretty industrial, but central, making it about a 1 mile walk to everything of interest: the basilica, downtown and the beach, the building seemed very secure and safe with keyed entry. I would not stay here again, but if we had gotten the room that we booked from the get-go, maybe.

Dirty and damaged
Reviewed By mariamfeherwe only spent one night in this apartment but it was a huge disappointment. from the outside its nice and its in a good area but the apartment flat was dirty and lots of things were damaged such as the door nearly fell out of its place, a bit of a bed was broken, the floor was dirty and had chips on it,the window was dirty, the bathtub was dirty and the air conditioner was very disgusting and dirty. we paid £150 for one night. i do not recommend

The new-build Villaroel apartments are located in the historic Eixample district, just a 10-minute walk from the AVE high-speed train station in Sants and 15 minutes from the Avinguda Diagonal shopping district. The building is located next to Barcelona's Hospital Clinic. The apartments are perfect for group or family trips, as they can accommodate up to 4 or 5 people.

I’ve paid around €500 for 2 nights, and the staff asked me to clean the dishes before we leave, and throw away the garbage .. This doesn’t match my idea off price/ quality Last but not least.. internet was very slow, which is annoying when your there for work.

Reviewed By lgoncalvesThis is was really a 5-star experience. Spacious and renovated apartment very close to Paseo de Gracia. All the amenities you can expect. Brand new Bosch appliances. All you need in the kitchen. Excellent customer service. They knew I was already in Barcelona and at about 11 am they texted me the apartment was ready. Check in was at 2 or 3. How cool is that? Again location could not be better. Large and nicely decorated apartment. I highly recommend it.

Allada Apartments are located next to the Born, one of the city's most modern districts. There is a vibrant nightlife but also a great deal of culture, such as the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Mar, and an infinite array of designer shops, boutiques and shoe stores. The beach is just a 20-minute walk away, making it the ideal place to enjoy the city both day and night, both in summer and winter.

Reviewed By FarzanBakshWe booked Hotel Allada via Expedia but after the booking was made, we found it difficult to communicate with the apartment management to arrange the access to the apartment. The apartment is served with a good elevator and is very conveniently located to allow easy walking access to the historic areas in Barcelona. Note also that reception was only available from 6am to 10pm. The apartment is very small (looks bigger on the pictures posted on Expedia) and really can only accommodate a maximum of two persons with hardly any lounging area. Expedia indicated that the apartment contained a "kitchenette" but note that it does NOT have a cooktop, only a microwave, so there's no way to cook a hot breakfast. However, there is good sized refrigerator and a dishwasher, and there are eating and cooking ware. The bathroom had one tiny shelf and no other storage so we ended up storing most of our toiletries on the bathroom floor. There is a shared washer/dryer facility but this is at the top floor so be aware that washing means that you will have to carry your laundry upstairs and then monitor for completion (and typical of European machines, a wash and dry for a medium sized load took almost 5 hours so it had to be left overnight). The apartment was generally clean and in good condition. However, be aware that you will be required to carry out your garbage and dispose of it in the public bins which are located on the street outside the apartment. The receptionist were all courteous and helpful.
