Nice overall stay except for pool
Reviewed By Laksha SWe booked a 3-bedroom villa with heated pool at an additional cost. Checkin: There is no reception at this resort or villa. The security guy sits somewhere that's not visible from the gate. It seems that anyone can pass the automated gate system. There was no one to show us the way. We did not know which villa was allocated to us. Finally, after few minutes a lady came by and told us the way but it was not the correct villa allocated. Another lady told us another villa but again wrong villa. After parking into 4 villas car park, we finally got to the correct one. The lady showed us the main areas, however we were not told how to use the keys and where the towels are. (We discovered that we have additional towels in other rooms when we were checking out) Villa- Villa is decently spacious. One hall, bedroom and sit out near the pool. The master bedroom is very huge but the other two are relatively small, but this wasn't a big issue. Pool was not heated despite requesting for it since 2 weeks. We contacted the reception at 10pm but they said that their staff leaves at 8pm and we will have to wait for the next day. We could not enjoyed our paid service. There was a back door which was not closing. After several attempts, we managed to get it closed. On our arrival, the curtains next to the pool fell on the head of two of my friends. But fortunately they were not hurt. The technician for the pool came the next day but said that there is a defect with the pool itself. For a paid service??? Hall and Bedroom was fine. However the bathroom in the master bedroom was not very private. It has another side which can be visible from the corridor, thus no privacy with other guests. Kitchen utensils worked fine. Check-out was quick and easy. The staffs came way before the check out time to verify the villa. It was quite uneasy as we were in our swimwear. Overall stay was pleasing. Loved the small cosy area with plunge pool and bamboo blinds helped from the winds. Only the heated pool ruined the moment. Will surely recommend it for couples.

Reviewed By shwetap1317The 1 bedroom apartments are really good and comfortable. They have a good size bathrooms with linens. U may want to get your own toiletries though. They have basic utensils for 2 ppl along with an electric stove and microwave. The pool in a bit larger than a bath tub...:). They have an amazing Indian restaurant. The front desk staff is super helpful. Would definitely stay here again

A fantastic breakfast was served on our patio at our convenience. We have done in excess of 15 trips to Mauritius. The villa is undoubtedly situated on the best swimming beach in Mauritius. No pretense, just fantastic quality, money for value and altogether best deal in Mauritius .

I must however salute the arrogange of the manager / owner, which clearly outclasses the basic understanding which, one who pretends to mean business, should possess in terms of usage of technological tools at their disposition to sell / market their product. To conclude, i will nonetheless concede that, AMATEURISM, is clearly an art mastered / nurtured / flourished, by the ones whom greed is more important than customer service. And i wish them all the very best when the peak season will be over. ;) You will sell a half day when you get the chance to then!

More importantly close to bus stop for trips to Port Louis, botanical gardens, popular beaches like Pereybere and many more. Also close to Grand Baie Bazaar. Lots of lovely restaurants around. Effective air conditioning in bedrooms. Daily housekeeping by friendly lady. Washing machine available.

The location is grate... you have the most beautiful beach Mon Choisy on the walking distance,and the center Grand Baie, 3 stations with the bus to the next beautiful Merville public beach, with the taxi cost about 5 dollars to the center down town.

The room smells like cigarettes
Reviewed By wei LWe stayed here for 2nights. Our room was clean and the facility was good enough. Especially for those who want a kitchen. And the location is great, 5mins walk to a big shopping mall. The downside is leaking water in the bathroom and cigarette smells in the room. We kept open the windows as much as possible, but once we closed, the room was full of the smell. They should prohibit smoking indoor and wash all the curtains in the room. Some people are allergic to smoke!
