Reviewed By 6bgfj85rBeen to this place and i cant decide how i feel about this place What i liked: Cosy and quiet place Nice and clean rooms Overall good and tasty food Restaurant manager - Prakash who was really nice and provided excellent service What i disliked: No one greets you at the hotel entrance and escort you to your room when you come for the 1st time...as if you are expected to know the whereabouts of the hotel. There is nobody to help you carry bags to your room The overall inability of the receptionist to clearly speak in the language you are speaking to her The overall rudeness of the staff and lack of finesse when approaching and taking to clients Lack of finesse when taking plates off your table Staff having no clue what room number you are in and proposing you things that are not in your package Staffs clearly having no training at all on how to welcome, interact and treat guests Staffs looking at you with blank faces when coming to the restaurant with no explanation whatsoever of the menu or the seating place staffs forgetting about my dessert and having to remind them after 30 minutes of waiting... A beef burger which was uncooked What i believe us UNACCEPTABLE: Sticking an invoice to my room's door for an unpaid drink which i have supposedly consumed... Which after query was a mistake at their end...these types of mistakes should have been picked up way before coming to my door... And stiking unpaid invoices to people's door is not what i would call acceptable for a hotel

Lovely hotel
Reviewed By 347philmGreat little hotel about a 25 minute walk into town. Quiet but with a smattering of great restaurants a few minutes walk away. Pool was great and the breakfast, both cooked and continental, were made with pride. Extra star for the owner allowing us to check out very late due to our evening flight.

Reviewed By Juliame75Perfect location near one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Mont Choisy. Even if the bungalows are a little faded, the decoration is neat, cheerful, the swimming pool and the jacuzzis very pleasant. The breakfasts and evening meals are fresh and local. The staff will do everything they can to accommodate your intolerances or tastes. Perfect stay of a week in this charming hotel, pool and sea view, even if we left almost empty stomach for the airport on Sunday morning because no one was awake at 7am as planned... ;-)

Let the kids hunt for shells and other treasures on the beach or splash around in the resort’s swimming pool while the adults enjoying having drinks by the side of our bar, which is by the side of the pool. This resort complex comprises of 16 units and is 10 minutes drive from the activities of the holiday town of Grand Bay where you can sample the fine fare of local restaurant and pubs or do a spot shopping at some local centres. Located on the north coast of Mauritius, in the charming village of Mont Choisy, the hotel is only 10 minutes away from the activities and nightlife of Grand Bay, and Pereybere beach, the most famous and frequented beach of the island. The hotel is approximately an hour from the airport and 30 minutes from Port Louis, the capital and city center of Mauritius.

Reviewed By adoredeepakRoom: No telephone in room, so if you need anything you have to go to reception, lizards in the room, ac's are too old, the menus and other details are all in french so you have to wait until next day for the receptionist who will translate apparently close enough Service: Breakfast does not have variety, eggs are not included in the breakfast and are chargeable. You will be served a plate with fruits, croissant and cheese, however on day one we were given only 1 plate for both of us, it was only the next day when the server changed and he gave both of us individual plates. Our welcome drink had all ants crawling in the coconut water. Receptionists are not very helpful and it is extremely hard to converse with them as they do not understand English very well and the Director only speaks french. We were stuck in Cyclone 3 alert and the flights got cancelled, hotel took advantage and demanded 125 euros per night and forced that we could only stay one night extra. Upon checking with the director what should we do if the cyclone alert stays for more than one night he said he doesn't know and we have to vacate. The pool is unusable because it is dirty very small and shallow. So is the spa that is dirty and has cold water. The wifi reception is very poor and so is the speed even when you are standing next to the router. We used the package from Holiday Factory who gave us this hotel instead of the one promised. Also the package was for 3 nights out of which 1 day and 1 night gets wasted due to travel, so will not recommend choosing this Hotel and Holiday Factory for Mauritius trip. A terrible experience!!

Reviewed By dman2002This is an excellent airbnb and you need look no further if you're planning to stay around Grand Baie. 3 min walk to the beach and the facilities at the apartment are just great. There's a lovely pool, restaurant and gym facilities with other restaurants within walking distance.
