Great for few nights away, close to Eurotunnel.

Met up with family and friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. We stayed in a mobile home for 2. Compact but adequate. BBQ included. Arrived on a Sunday. Had not realised that we needed to take sheets. Reception offered some sheets for cost of 8 euros. Don't forget to read small print to ensure you do not get caught out. Others in our group took their caravan whilst others camped. Great that there are so many options of how to stay, this suited our needs. Small pool area. Small shop at reception. Snacks available on site. Enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

Filthy facilities and pool

Reviewed By Helen K

We stayed here twice for overnight stops this summer. Both times the toilets were dirty, seats falling off their hinges, sinks filthy. On one occasion there was pooh on the floor, which wasn’t cleaned up. Bins were overflowing with rubbish. The pool was dirty, with green slime around the edges. I won’t be returning and I advise you not to. We stayed last year, which was fine - I wonder if it is under new management?

Great high ropes / accrobranche afternoon. We did 3 routes within a couple of hours. Get progressively more difficult & we skipped the 4th as the third was pretty tough for our 11 year old. Good equipment, friendly staff & other activités on site, quad biking etc.

Good for an overnight stop ...

This is a great location for a campsite if you are arriving or leaving by ferry, being just 15 minutes from the port. As it is with ACSI, the site is also very affordable. The pitches are nicely separated, some with hard-standing, and some with grass. The unisex toilet block is spacious, but it’s looking a bit tired, and the water temperature in the showers was a bit variable. The dish-washing sinks were outside, but there was plenty of hot water even though the sinks themselves were past their best. There were excellent indoor & outdoor swimming pools that were still in operation in late September.

Excellent stay in a Canadian tent

Reviewed By Isabel480

We have no idea why this campsite does not have yet a top rating , it deserves it ! We had a great stay in our Canadian tent , the facilities were amazing : brand new showers and toilets for all the campers , all warm and super clean ! Lovely staff , ready to help if needed . There is a small heated pool , very handy at the end of a walking day , some evenings we had it for ourselves only ! Pizzas on site were very good . In the small village , within 5 minutes walking distance , you can find a small bar / restaurant , one boulangerie and two grocery shops (one small and one slightly bigger). The beach is easy to access and you can follow the road if you do not want to take the steeper shortcut (via stairs so still manageable in flip flops).
