Excellent base for Es Canar
Reviewed By DazEastyBeing regular visitors to Es Canar we have never been disappointed with any of the accomodations we have stayed in and this one is no different, absolutely perfect for our needs and budget, ideally situated just off the main throughfare of the resort and a 5 minute walk to most of the amenities/beach/bus station. We were welcomed the minute we arrived by the friendly staff who had even put us a kettle and 2 cups in our room on request and believe me that was a massively welcomed addition. The room was basic but very clean and spacious with 2 single beds pushed together and a seperate single bed too, remote controlled tv and aircon, seperate bathroom with the most powerful shower i've ever experienced and the other half loved the (half) bath. A large double window opened up onto a spacious balcony with a small table, 2 chairs and a sun lounger, although the sun was at the wrong side of the building for us it was still a nice addition to sit and have a drink on. There was also a fridge and a safe in the room as well as plenty of storage for clothes. We would definitely stop here again - Thanks for a lovely stay.

The studios have a double room with 1 or 2 beds. With or without furnished terrace, plasma TV. Air conditioning and ceiling fan in the bedroom, bathroom with shower, fully fitted kitchen, fridge, cooker, oven, microwave, toaster, juicer, kettle, sandwich maker, blender, iron clothes dryer Hair.
Watch out with booking directly through hotel
Reviewed By anoukr717I also had the same experience as the previous 2 reviews. Due to Covid-19 we couldn’t go. A voucher was promised, but they never really gave a reaction after that initial promise. Every time I called a lady picked up who didn’t speak English. It was all very messy, in the end I just needed a confirmation of cancellation from them for my insurance company, no reaction again. Luckily my insurance company ended up paying it back anyway.

Reviewed By Mirka IThe place is newly redecorated and has now a Bali boho style. More beautiful than in the old photos. Nice personnel and good breakfast. Cozy inner garden with a pool. Very good location in the city center and close to the bus to Ibiza town. My room was a bit noisy, though, as it was facing a busy street.

Worst place we have ever stayed and we won’t be going back, ever!

We had to cancel briefly because my daughter got Covid but then we managed to get out to Ibiza and because we did not want to lose our deposit and we did not want Can Guillem to be unable to fill rooms. I promptly asked Tony the manager/owner not to sell the villa that we would had booked as we were able to get out but he had ignored my email and sold the room. He reorganised some dates and we came out at a later time I asked him for a price several times in UK and on arrival but Tony didn’t give it to me. This I suspected was dodgy and I was right he made money on letting my villa and put me in cheaper rooms but charged me the price of the Villa. We had to move three times to 5 different rooms all of which had something wrong with them. We had agreed to move but we were meant to have help with our luggage and we didn’t. The villa we did have for 2 nights was dark and dirty. In all rooms the pillows and beds were cheap and uncomfortable. The personal hot tub was dirty and full of sand. In one room Aircon dripped on the floor all night - I had to put towels down to stop the noise. In another room the flush got stuck and kept going the whole time. At breakfast there weren’t enough glasses, coissants or plates and when the table was cleaned, the mats weren’t when we moved onto the table despite being in Covid times. The ingredients was cheap, cheap warm yogurt and tomatoes with no flavour etc…There were wasps around the tiny pool and I had never been stung before but I was here! There weren’t enough sunbeds for everyone and you had to ask for towels all the time for the pool and room. The safe didn’t work in one room and for another one you had to use a key as the keyboard was bust. There were no shampoos or conditioners just a generic pot that was filled up with who knows what we used as the shower gel. The whole place lacked a special vibe and seemed to lack of staff. We have been to cheaper places in Ibiza and had much better rooms, service, food and vibe, it lacked any character whatsoever. In fact this was the most we’ve paid in Ibiza ever and we felt ripped off. We will not be returning. (I just want a special mention to Juan and his wife as they were lovely and deserve to work somewhere better.)

Not what I expected
Reviewed By Pauline RBeware, the pictures on booking sites and Niko own site do not reflect the rooms given. We had no oven, no hairdryer. The view from the room was terrible, simply looking directly into opposite apartments so they were looking into ours. The table on the balcony was terrible, the chairs in the kitchen area were unsafe. The safe in the room was even too small to fit iPad into so we had to carry it everywhere as some of the windows did. It lock. Will not be returning.

Jacuzzi bath did not work either ? Score 8/10. Santa Eulalia very quiet, lovely beach nearby. I do recommend this hotel. In shops staff not always friendly, just be polite and stand your ground. La Cala is a good hotel for the older person or couple it’s not ideal for children. I recommend aged for 50plus. Only one pool, which is adequate.

Beautiful boutique hotel that I would highly recommend
Reviewed By 167louisesWe stayed at the hotel the last week of September for 5 nights, and had a lovely time. It truly is an amazing Oasis that Jerry and Lola have made and would highly recommend for total relaxation and chill. The breakfast is served to your table, and has a varied choice of cooked food which was excellent. We had a lovely garden superior room which was lovely and quiet and at night the lighting around the hotel is beautiful. Its a 10 minute walk to Santa Eulalia where lots of lovely restaurants are and Jerry can recommend some good places! I would highly recommend and would go back in flash!

Reviewed By RH-HotelsBenidormFor a few days no frills, you couldn't do better. Rooms are basic, however clean and if you just need a place to sleep it's fine. Rooms belong to the Cafeteria Mayol and the bar and staff are very pleasant.
