Located above a working petrol station, with its own access to the side of the cash desk or from the street. a small underground car park at extra cost is available and street parking outside. It is hard to describe the eccentricity and very thoughtful design, the owner is a motor enthusiast and the décor is bright, clean and follows the theme with a motorbike on the wall of the stairs and a petrol pump on the landing. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. there is a very small pool on the roof with sun loungers overlooking the canopy of the station below, the canopy has been landscaped to to provide a lovely garden view. Breakfast is provided in an eating area just off the gas station reception; every effort had been made to ensure I had an enjoyable gluten free breakfast. There is no restaurant but I was recommended to the local pizzeria, Pizza Pizza, where I had the best GF pizza I have ever eaten, discount given as I was from Resotel. The hotel is a very short drive from Salamanca and a minute or two from the autuoroute by car. Highly recommend.

2 night stay in a room overlooking the square
Reviewed By Boggle75The location of this property is excellent - rooms overlooking the Playa Mayor. Really stunning and makes this location. Rooms are adequate - comfortable beds and decent wardrobes / storage. Aircon worked well. Rooms - despite being on the square - weren't at all noisey when doors shut. Could be improved: not sure why there is a desk in the room for that location, would be better to replace that with comfortable seating to drink in the square view. Personal preference. On the whole this is a very memorable place to stay 1-2 nights. No facilities on site - but the square is full of restaurants, cafes and bars. Would happily return.

Reviewed By SassieTThe hotel itself is OK, but the town is very run down. Perhaps because its a Sunday in October, we found there was nowhere to get a meal. There were a couple of sports type tapas bars, but they are not friendly at all. Hotel advertises that it has a restaurant, however do not tell you the restaurant is not open for food Sunday or Monday nights. There is no hotel bar or coffee facilities. Beds in the room were very hard. We had to be moved from our first room as the cold water tap did not work. The hotel advertises it is dog friendly, but the dog is not allowed in the breakfast room, or lounge; despite being charged a whopping 20Euros a night for the dog. Infact the whole town is not dog friendly. Would not recommend.

Reviewed By Marcela_and_ThomasI've spend a very nice time - 4 nights at this very nice place. It is only a few minutes walk from the main street. It has very modern rooms, room cleaning every day, and is is very confortable. They do offer breakfast for only 4.- EUR. The only little dissadvantage was that my room was directly opposite the elevator. And at nighttime, when the drunk guests came back home, it was a little noisy when they tried to find their room.

We were a bit afraid of the noise as there is a small bar below, but with the air con working well we could sleep with the windows closed. Walking distance from the old town and Plaza Mayor.

Great quiet hotel
Reviewed By JLizzieHWe had a twin room on the first floor, there was plenty of room and the beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel serves breakfast and lunch, and then for an evening meal customers need to go to the bar round the corner, which is run by the same family. We found staff friendly although they spoke only Spanish. The wifi was good and there was plenty of on street parking. The buffet breakfast was good value at €3.50 per person.

Helpful owners and nice clean room
Reviewed By SandCHoustonWe stayed there for two nights during our recent walk in the area. The owners were extremely accommodating and worked with us as our Spanish language skills were minimal. We had a delicious dinner and an adequate breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, good shower and great wi-fi. We would stay there again if in the area.

Nice hotel right at the entrance to the village

Cons: The room lighting was too dim and one of the few lights was out. For modern digital times, there were too few outlets in the room. The heating was just adequate.A bit on the pricey side.
