Reviewed By zackbeam2705We spent about a week at this hotel. From the first day we saw the breakfast waitresses treating us differently to other guests. My basic Spanish skills allowed me to understand that they made funny comments about us, making fun also from our gestures and the way we dressed We are sure that none of this would have happened had we been a straight couple. We have not won anything with UE gender-protection laws if, they are not respected de facto in public places like this one.

Hostal Illes Pitiuses is a small family business with over 25 years of experience, which offers a cozy atmosphere and personalized service. The establishment is located in the village of Sant Ferran, in the center of the island. The Hotel has 26 rooms and is open all year Each air-conditioned room comes with a private balcony. All have a safe, TV, as well as a private bathroom comes with a shower and bath. Car and bicycle rental is also available. La Savina Ferry Terminal is a 10-minute drive away.

Reviewed By JamboHouseI stayed there for two nights end of April/starting May 2019. Good price/value ratio in Low Season. I was renting a bicycle so for me location was good to reach every part of the island. My room had a balcony overlooking the road. Wifi only worked downstairs at the restaurant.

We also have an open-air wellness area with turquish bath, jacuzzi, emotional shower, sunbeds and swimming pool. For those who want to keep in good shape we have a tennis court and a gym zone. As additional services, we offer thai massage done by a Thai native.

Reviewed By A4813KPandymStayed 7 nights and it turned out to be a great location to explore the island especially with e-bikes. We stayed in room 9 which is very large and away from the road. There are no other rooms attached to it so very peaceful nights. The room was cleaned every day and new towels and sheets daily. Large walk in shower and kitchenette. Breakfast is pre-ordered to a time of your choice and laid out on the patio table. Large pool and didn't see a single child hurrah! No towel race in the mornings and most times just a few other people poolside. Staff very friendly and happy to help. Highly recommended!

Super helpful and friendly staff, we had a solid breakfast and enjoyed a peaceful location closeby (nothing is really far away in Formentera anyway) some of the best beaches of the island while still secluded and quiet. Loved it!

It has an outdoor pool, a restaurant and a terrace a few meters away you will find the Piratabus and the chiringuito pinball for unforgettable aperitifs. This exclusive potential location could be a good reference point for visiting the island of Formentera, however Calo Des Mort, El Pilar de la Mola, Sant Francesc Xavier, Es Pujols, Cala Saona, Ses Illetes can be reached by renting a scooter that it will be delivered directly to the hotel. The Hotel Maysi is a simple structure with comfortable air-conditioned rooms but there is no elevator in case of need. The outdoor area has an outdoor pool (without lifeguard) with an excellent bar and numerous relaxing gazebos. The young staff is always available to satisfy the client's requests, however the restaurant service must be improved as the menu offers little choice and the in-room mini-bar is presented without a bottle of water. I want to repeat myself saying that this structure has great potential that must be developed even if we are talking about a two-star.

Es Pi 2 is a hostel located just 300m from Migjorn Beach, in Formentera, 7 km from the port and 3 km from the city centre of San Francisco Village. Nearby you will find shops, restaurants, bars and bicicle, cars and motorbike rentals. Just in front you will find a bus stop. The check in and check out, breakfast and all other services will take place at the Insotel Hotel Formentera Playa, 4* Hotel which is just 200m away. On the same beach of the Insotel Hotel Formentera Playa you’ll find the SOUTH Formentera Beach Restaurant & Lounge. A different way to relax on the beach, with a pleasant mix of high cuisine and chill out at the Mediterranean Sea and water sport facilities as windsurfing, SUP, canoeing and a diving school.

Very silent place, I personally thanked being a bit far (200 meters) from Insotel, the location where we had wonderful breakfasts, because the nightlife in the hotel was too loud. Only remark the air conditioning, a bit noisy. But it wasn't hot, so we could turn it off without issues. Good plus the beds, rigid enough according to my taste. The arrangement with the Insotel however allowed us to use all facilities. We didn't simply because we were all the time enjoying the beaches.. The price was just right, not cheap though.

Great but let down by noise
Reviewed By andyn831This place has the potential to be an 'excellent' property. The location is fantastic, the rooms are well decorated and very clean and the staff are friendly. There is parking and the premises is located a short walk from the beach, shops and a moped rental shop. However, there are a few fundamentals which knock this down to an average stay. - The walls are paper thin. Brings earplugs. You will be able to hear your neighbours cough through the walls.... the property is marketed as having soundproof rooms - questionable! This really did make it hard to sleep at night. - The included breakfast is very basic. A pastry and a coffee. Fresh fruit would have been a welcome addition. - The free toiletries were so small that you're best not to rely on them! Would stay again subject to the rooms receiving some sort of soundproofing!

Reviewed By Derek TSad disappointment here, and only the second number 2 rating we've given. Recommended to us by our hotel, and we noted mixed reviews, but the write-up of authentic fresh seafood next to a small harbour prompted us to give it a chance. Pity. The food was just above "adequate" and not poor enough for a complaint (upon reporting back to our concierge who had recommended the place, he said that "adequate" was a typically British condemnation). Shown to our seats pleasantly enough, but no immediate offer of water, which when it came with menus was without welcome or eye contact. That set the tone. Busy and tired wait-staff, a person in T-shirt who appeared to be maitre-d' but who appeared to be selective about which few tables he approached, and non-personable service: first course straight after ordering, plates cleared ASAP then came the paella, then plates cleared as soon as we stopped eating. Our two starters were acceptable and edible (one octopus Galation-style, one fried baby squid) then paella for two was in the realm of "OK" but certainly nothing to rave about. Shame, could be so much better given location and access to good ingredients. Finally, we accept that Palma can be an expensive city, and we don't mind high-end prices if we get high-end food and service.....but based on this meal and experience although legally we'd not had really poor food or an experience to warrant a complaint about, we simply just won't be back.

What a dirty surprise
Reviewed By andi72mucHostal Santi ... OMG ... you only get what you see - and that's a dirty, loud nightmare! We had booked the hotel for 6 nights and wanted to flee again after checking in. They are unable to offer towels for the beach, no amenities in the bathroom, nothing was possible for more than 300 € the night! After numerous discussions and a "fine" of almost € 1000, we were finally allowed to leave after a night of horror. The owner likes to be aggressive, and please, don't go to this ripped-off hotel. Fortunately, we found a really great alternative at a lower price in formentera with a spa, pool and a big clean Suite. It is really a shame about a lost day in formentera ...
