I can only recommend this resort when staying in Koh Phangan .. I also rented a mororbike from the resort for only 150 baht per day ..

We have a wilderness resort that puts you hand-in-hand with nature just outside Krabi Town in Krabi province. We have bungalows with fans and our grounds are naturally landscaped with beautiful grass areas and pools of water, hiking treks through the jungle and more! Most visitors come to Phanom Bencha Mountain Resort for some peace and relaxation. Some come to meditate. Some come to write books or have a nice time with the family without outside distractions. We have nature and wildlife walks at night available - just ask! Our food is cooked on-site and we have had excellent reviews in this area! No need to leave the resort, but you can go shopping in town easily if you desire! Best Regards! Son R.
Excellent food and hospitality in an idyllic setting
Reviewed By Peter GWe called here prior to and after visiting the nearby Tham Thawada cave system (this requires caving skills and basic equipment). Our host spoke excellent English and was very accommodating. We ate a lovely meal in the restaurant after our caving trip.

Reviewed By ElliottB277I just completed a 10 dive package with Forra Divers and can’t wait to return. Location was perfect for me, right next to my hotel Lipe Beach Resort. Diving conditions weren’t the best but I felt the staff did everything possible to make my adventure pleasurable.

Hot Coffee is a small relaxed guesthouse for travellers on the Chiang Mai Mae - Hong Son Loop looking for a pleasant Thai experience, located on a gentle river in the hillside. All profits generated are donated to the close by orphanage. 3 Riverside Bungalows, 2 Deluxe rooms, camping ground, hot shower, all fax, fridge, coffee/tea hot water in each room, fire place, great natural atmosphere. Doi Inthanon, Hot Springs, Emerald lake, bamboo rafting are close by attractions. Cyclists, bikers, off-roaders, tours, are all welcome !

The staff work very hard and take care of all of the children in the children’s home as well as the resort. Our room was clean and comfortable. Beds are firm Thai style beds. The showers have hot water. Meals are excellent, make sure you arrive before 7 when the kitchen closes. We stayed here while doing a day visit to the Bees elephant sanctuary. It was convenient. Make sure leave a donation for the kids home while you are visiting.

We have access to the Beach as well

We have 9 air con bungalows and 8 fan bungalows situated in beautiful gardens with a private road leading to the beach.2 minutes walk. Our newly opened restaurant serves international and thai cuisine all day with a happy hour at the bar from 17.00-20.00. The bar has a big screen tv showing sports news and films. Our staff are very friendly and are here to cater for your every need.

Reviewed By Juju1140These are lovely bungalows set approx 5 mins walk from the beach. Clean comfortable beds and hot showers. Staff are helpful to support your needs. Great place to stay. The road is currently being widened and this can cause noise dust and disruption, it should be completed soon though.

Some Issues
Reviewed By NapierAroWe stayed two nights here in one of the standard bungalows. The setting approx 15km from the city was perfect. The room was basic but adequate. However we felt the level of attention to guests' needs was lacking. There were two choices only for breakfast. There were no tea/coffee facilities in our room or at the reception. No hair dryer. The beds are hard and at least one of the mattresses needs replacing as it was soiled. While our room was clean, we noted that there were no top sheets and therefore watched as the housekeeping staff used the same top padded blanket for their next guest. We think you can do better elsewhere.

Cute and colorful cottages
Reviewed By makaanThis property is a bit out of the way from the main street. The overall theme of the place is Bunny hence the colorful decor with bunnies all around. The garden hedges at the entrance are even trimmed to the shape of bunnies with their long ears. Nice surroundings with option of camping ground or cottage accommodation. It is away from the bustle of the main street hence if you are there without transport, do ensure you have your meals before driving towards the camp. There is a Bunny Cafe in the compound which closes around 5pm. Pleasant staff. Depending on which room you stay, be prepared for a walk if the room is further from the front reception area. There is a nice garden and swings for a relaxing walk. Wake up to the morning birds chirping outside your room, and we also had a view of the beautiful sunrise just outside at the balcony. Only minus is that there is early morning traffic going out to the main road as cars have to pass by a railroad track and traffic lights on the way out.

Rude Management
Reviewed By kulet bStayed here for 1 night or not even one night because we are running marathon the next day. We informed the reception that we are going to check out late as the marathon will finished at 2:30 PM (we ran 50 KM by the way) We only need to shower after.. We agreed that we are paying 500 THB per hour. But then the Management called us many times ranting while we are still in the marathon that we have to go back to the hotel coz some guest will check in, in our room. They should be the one solving that problem, not the guest, right? for sure they have more available rooms.. It's even more disappointing when we got back to the hotel, the management is not there and the guests are the one telling us to hurry up and get our things quick.
