Returning after being gone for three years and brought a first time guest. Appetizer was gumbo and out of bounds delicious my lunch was the Cheddar Soup with vegetables. My guest had the vegetable plate with dinner salad and their home made blue cheese dressing. Fried Okra, Broccoli Rice Casserole and Macaroni and Cheese. Yes the entire lunch was outstanding. Always a decent meal at Texas Roadhouse. The salad is a very good option for one of two sides when ordering your entree. I had forgotten to tell them to ease up on the salt on the smothered chicken. The mushrooms were way over salted and I had forgotten this from a previous experience. I like well seasoned food but way too salty. The sweet potato is a nice portion and enjoyable as are their fresh baked rolls. Good service rounds out the meal experience. This restaurant is not exactly a good venue for conversation or romantic dinner because itâs noisy, but the food is consistently good.

I was visiting La Porte for work and took a couple of my coworkers to lunch. They suggested Tony's and off we went. Here's my experience, in no particular order:1) Convenient location right off the main road with ample parking.2) Walk-up service. You walk in and read off of the menu board, then head to the cashier and place your order.3) Great variety of BBQ, steaks, ribs, sandwiches, etc.4) One of my coworkers and I ordered the chicken fried steak with beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, while the other coworker ordered a BBQ pork sandwich with one side dish.5) Can't believe the entire meal was only $29!! During the rest of my trip, each of my meals alone was more than $29.6) The service was fast! The sandwich was ready as soon as I paid and the chicken fried steaks were brought to our table in about five minutes.7) The steaks were excellent and filling. I'm a big eater and I was very satisfied when I was done. In summary, you can't go wrong with this place. I don't get to Texas often, but I will certainly be back to Tony's on my next visit to TX.

First time at this new location. The meal was really good and the service was great (Timothy was our server). Blooming onion was cooked perfectly, wedge was good and I really enjoyed the Prime Rib.

Saltgrass is a Houston institution with several locations across the area. This was our first time at the Pasadena location. As with all other times at Saltgrass, the food and service was very good. I had a chopped steak with cognac sauce and mushrooms and onions, and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. It was all very good and I had enough left for lunch the following day. One of my sons had pizza and another had kids portion of ribs (which were huge). It was all very good. We've been eating at Saltgrass's for a long time and this won't be our last visit.
