Neat interior with indoor and outdoor seating including an indoor/outdoor bar. We sat at the indoor bar and were served by a very exuberant gentleman who I believe went by the name of TJ. He was a great waiter/bartender and very entertaining. They have a decent number of beers on tap, and we were able to try a couple before picking the ones we really liked. Based on TJâs suggestion, the two of us split three tacos, and it was plenty. We ordered the green chili pork, the baja shrimp, and Mr. Orange (salmon). They were all tasty and each came with a different sauce. The only mild complaint I have would be the thickness of the corn tortillas. I prefer my thin but these were pretty thick. However, as they stuff the tacos full it makes sense so they donât fall apart. We would definitely return.

A large group ate here late in the evening before closing. They never made us feel as though we had to hurry. I had pork carnitas and they were incredible!! The best that I have ever tasted! Everyone was very satisfied with their food. My Uber picky sister who never likes anything wanted to go again. I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, we had a large group and a server who was in training. Some of the food was very good but some not so good. Our service was just adequate.

The NY strip Mexican style has a nice preparation but it may have been the fattiest piece of meat Iâve ever been served. There are just so few choices in the lake Travis area that you really donât have to be good and this place stands testament to that fact. The service was better than the food.

We stopped by on Monday but that is their day closed so we came back Tuesday and wanted to try their cocktail/dinner menu. The restaurant was already full at 5:30 so we chose to sit in the 'bar' and be entertained by our server "Brad". He was funny, informative, knew the menu inside and out and fixed our favorite drinks during 'Happy Hour' at great prices! The atmosphere was festive colors and everyone was having a good time. The menu has multiple selections and the free chips and salsa were some of the best we have had! A huge improvement over Marias Mexican in Lago Vista! I ordered the Fajitias...made to order and a huge person for a single order. My husband tried the 'barraccos' (not sure on spelling) and it was a recommended special of theirs. We both loved the spices and it was most flavorful...again, huge portions so we had leftovers to take home. A great dining experience and we will definitely return again. Glad we went back to try it! Enjoy!

That is what you feel like, when you are enjoying this fantastic food and the ambiance in this restaurant. The service is friendly, efficient and professional. Their prices are reasonable and the variety of cocktails is overwhelming, so that it is difficult not to take a try of their seductive suggestions.

5 couples enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant. Friendly welcome and efficient service. Good menu selections and plenty of food served. Definitely recommend this restaurant. One of our couples arranged a breakfast business meeting with a couple from San Antonio. This should give you an idea as to the quality of food and service offered. Definitely try it.

We are staying on the Islands for the month of January and are very happy this restaurant is here for us! They are only open limited days during the week but their menu has many tasty choices and Julie, the bartender is friendly, attentive and makes great drinks! Her mother runs the restaurant and uses many of her family recipes for various dishes. The chicken enchiladas, fajitas, and ribs are the BEST! Fun, friendly atmosphere with fantastic views over Lake Travis.

Maria's has a nice menu and selection with a bar if you need that. Usually a quiet place for lunch meetings. Couple large TV's for sports and News enthusiasts.Food is good. I particularly like the NACHOS and the Chicken Tortilla Soup is exceptional. Nice and hot and lots of veggies and chicken.

We were in the mood for mexican food while in Lago Vista, and the reviews for Maria's scared us off. DeeDee's hit the spot. The servers are friendly, professional, and quick. We watched them roll out our fresh flour tortillas for the meal, and everyone liked their food. Lunch tacos are ~$3 each, and they are larger than expected. The fajita steak tacos were excellent. If we're in the area, we will definitely go back. FYI, they close for lunch at 2pm.
