Still great! Ted has sold his place after many years- actually he had to reclaim it several years ago and has sold it again. The food remains very good and consistent ( although my strawberry salad could have used a few more strawberries.) Please support this local gem.

We were passing through and saw this place listed on TripAdvisor. we passed it because you donât see the restaurant at all from the street. After parking and then meandering down a wooded path, you come to a restaurant situated between small bridges and turtle families of different varieties. Lots of diners coming and going.The hamburgers looked great and I should have stuck with that but the special of the day also sounded good and included dessert. The special was a BBQ sandwich which was way more bread than meat which I tore apart and left most of the bread. The bun was good but too much of it and little BBQ. The small dessert was premade In small cups and served from the refrigerator. One of us had chocolate cake and the other, a type of pudding. The staff was friendly and service was good. Funky and fun decor! We will go back but will stick with the hamburgers.

Went with a friend this past week for lunch. Ordered food from the Churrascoâs truck. Meat tasted great but way over priced for what I got ... could get better plate of similar food at a restaurant and pay less. Must admit that the array of beer and drinks available is awe inspiring.

This place could not be cuter! A tortoise habitat greets you as you approach the restaurant. Staff is very friendly and all work together as one. Food is fast and yummy! They even have a few fun little surprises throughout the restaurant! Check hours before you go as they are very limited.

We went there for breakfast. It is located in a strip shopping center with plenty of parking. The breakfast was more expensive than other diners in town. The food was good and the service excellent.

This is a great place for lunch. I had to wait awhile as my friend had gone to the wrong restaurant and the staff was very kind and let me order a drink while I waited. It got crowded but they never asked me to leave. I did finally order and my friend showed up. Great sandwiches, and especially dessertâ-I had the bread pudding, my favorite, and it was beyond what I had hoped. Thanks, Whistle Stop!!

We have been eating at this restaurant for years. They have the yummiest chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. If you are there on Friday you have to try the eggplant parmigiana as a side order. The atmosphere is that of a small town country cafe. It is not beautiful or fancy, but you will not regret eating there.

This is a friendly, welcoming place. Several of us were in town for a small conference, and the owner was very gracious to us. From the appetizers through dessert, everything was delicious. The choices were so wide, that we decided to go again the next night to try something different (although the sweet potato casserole and rhubarb pie were repeat favorites!) An added bonus - excellent service, even though we were a large group.

Before we moved north of the Woodlands, we always loved the Panther Creek Republic Grill iso was hoping the location on FM 2978 was equally as good. AND IT IS! Delicious food with a broad-range menu. Excellent service from hostess to servers and oh the music! Sure the CFS is delicious but so is every item on the menu. Excellent restaurant.Thank you Alexa. We strive to be consistent in all aspects of the operation regardless of the location. Thank you for noticing. Much appreciate the 5 Stars!
