Reviewed By tdaniel14343837Hanna was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to accommodate us and to make sure we were pleased. Our room was cleaned every day and vacuumed. One day they couldn’t make the bed because we had stuff on top of the bed. They left us a note stating that; which is more than what I would’ve done if I was cleaning our room . Everyone there is so nice and so friendly. The breakfast was really good. And the lady that serves the breakfast bar top notch!! It’s actually like going to Whoville with Cindy Lou !! Even the long term stay guest are friendly and outgoing and amazing !! Not sure what the gentleman‘s name was that checked us in on Mother’s Day weekend 2022 ,but another one that’s just amazing !! Hanna and gang keep doing what you’re doing !!! You people totally rock !!! My only dislike was the parking. The place gets so busy in the evening that it’s hard to find a parking place if you go out and come back . But hey when you have customer service like the Hampton has who wouldn’t want to stay there !!!!

Reviewed By EffieMew123We found this place online during a Delta (flight company) promotion for getting additional miles. My mother and I were on a road trip across the US and needed a place to sleep in Texarkana, so we wanted to find a cheap place that seemed safe and clean. This place was quite reasonably priced ($50 per night) for the one night we'd be staying, so we went for it. When we arrived, we had very mixed feelings because the outside looked like an old hotel that had been closed down (e.g. if it went out of business) but the inside surprised us: the front desk looked really lovely like it had just been put in, and the lobby area was very nicely furnished. There were signs of age e.g. in the ceiling, but otherwise it looked like a decent place. We learned from the front staff who were incredibly friendly and courteous (Virginia and Stacey) that it was a Ramada hotel that had gone out of business and was bought by someone else so they were just beginning renovations. This explained a lot given the hall carpets looked fairly aged and a little dingy, and we saw a couple of Ramada carpets e.g. in the elevator. All this said -- our hotel room was actually very nice. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the room was well furnished with a mini fridge, desk area, TV, and microwave. The bathroom fixtures all worked so we got warm showers. The door was keycard locked with interior locks as well, so definitely was secure. They also offered a fairly decent breakfast including a waffle marker, some cereals with milk, orange juice, sausage, and biscuits with gravy (granted by the time we went downstairs around 8:30 AM, there were no biscuits left). Overall, despite the signs of age and the exterior not looking that hot, I think this place is 4/5 stars because the staff were amazing, and the room itself was clean, safe, and well furnished. As a side note, one of the guests checking in just before us was a construction worker that said he and his team were there for working on the hotel, so it seems like a lot of good changes have already happened and will keep happening on this place.

The staff redeemed the poor conditions
Reviewed By Shawnk98From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt the staff listened to our needs. The problem was the room was terrible. The carpet was extremely outdated but the blood on the carpet, from what appeared to be a bedroom brawl, topped it off. Also the desk chair looked like a remnant of the Cold War. Unfortunately the photos didn’t do it Justice, the blood went from the far edge of the room and led to the bathroom-absolutely terrible. We also didn’t have a shower curtain or towels but we were told about that since we checked in early. The staff immediately brought them along with the curtain when we asked. The shower had great water pressure and heat-which was great! But the staff always seemed to be accommodating, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the bartender, all the people were very friendly. If they had acted even the slightest bit rude, the review would have been lower-they redeemed the visit! My niece, who had another room on the fourth floor had jo hot water. That never was resolved. We had other rooms so she was able to shower in one of the other rooms so it worked out. That was not told to staff so I don’t fault them for not fixing what they didn’t know about-but it was broke. All in all the customer service was good, the conditions, in our rooms at least, were not.

Reviewed By Timothy WFront desk man Ali Jadoon was excellent in making sure our stay was a happy one. Very clean room. Hot breakfast with good coffee in morning. Ali made sure no items ran out. Good bathtub to wash off the travel cooties. HBO in room provided entertainment. And the bed was as good as you get at the Hilton!

Disgusting place
Reviewed By clucktylerRude staff. Room was full of mold and smelled of cigarette smoke. Refrigerator was disgusting. Room was so humid the bedding felt wet. Don’t stay here unless you want a week long sinus headache. Place is a total dump.

Not a bad stay for the money
Reviewed By JC0lI got this room over a discount and it was under fifty bucks; not bad in this day and age. Check-in was easy although they had the lobby closed and I had to use the night window. Outside was a little unkempt, but not bad. When I got in my room it was fine. There wasn't a coffee maker, but a microwave and fridge. I had a parking space right in front of my room. The bed was comfortable.
