We found this place last minute and they had 2 adjoining rooms available for all 5 of us and it was just what we needed. Also had a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms so great for a family of 5. Would recommend! Also Spoke very good english, so helpful.

Reviewed By Danreds18This is one of the best hotels in the Delta Region. Very close to a wonderful long sandy beach, Nature reserves such as riet vell and lots of bird-watching areas are close by. The restaurant attached to the hotel serves great food and priced very well for the quality. There is a small supermarket and campsite opposite where you can also rent bikes for the day. Its location is perfect to explore. The Staff are very friendly and the rooms are good and very clean. One word of caution the area is full of mosquito's so bring lots of repellent.

Reviewed By UrsosarctosTucked away in a quiet turning off the main road, this is a gem. Our room was spacious and immaculate, with lovely furniture, most of it old, and so many comforts. The bathroom suite was luxurious. Breakfast is personally prepared. Parking can be a challenge.

Reviewed By judit_withouthGreat value. We were looking for a comfortable room for three people just to spend one night and it was perfect. Nice beds, good breakfast, room and bathroom very clean. Free wifi. Beachfront, easy to park near the hotel.

Reviewed By Mel8135What a wonderful hotel. I stayed here for 4 nights with my mother whilst selling a local property so was in need of a stress-free stay. On arrival we were welcomed by the lovely staff at reception who immediately allowed us to store out large luggage there rather than drag them to our room. The hotel itself was spotless. All communal areas were thoroughly cleaned and our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels & sheets. I would have liked a kettle but they don't come supplied in many Catalonian hotels so if you need an early morning cup of tea then take a personal one. Also, there were just two tiny sachets of soap/shower gel provided so take a quick trip to the local spar. The room included a continental breakfast which was perfectly adequate and well set out. Again the breakfast staff were so professional and polite and really made us welcome. The hotel was situated near the beach and I could hear the waves lapping on the shore in the morning which was an added bonus and the general location was perfect with bars and cafes within a short walk. I absolutely loved this hotel and will certainly return.

The owner was very friendly with us, he talk with us and he invited us to breakfast. The place is well situated and easily to arrive, if you go to dinner near Ulldecona. On the other hand, it has not lift.

Cuando llega el recepcionista y de testigo al otro lado del teléfono la chica de booking me ha echado del hotel empujandome alegando que no era clienta (teniendo la reserva confirmada y pagada). He pasado hasta miedo. The worst experience of my life. Waiting in reception half an hour, calling the mobile and without answering. With all the keys in sight. When the receptionist arrives and with the girl from Booikin on the other side of the phone, the guy has kicked me out of the hotel, claiming I was not a customer (with the reservation confirmed and paid for). I was really afraid, he was so agressive.

Reviewed By Miranda TI stayed here on the spur of the moment while driving southwards through Spain, with a view to exploring the Ebro Delta the next day. Laura, the owner, was very welcoming (she lives nearby, not on site, but is easily contactable by phone) and the room was very clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. The rooms aren't totally soundproof and the church clock chimes the hour - this which wasn't a problem for me but a light sleeper might benefit from earplugs! The weather was awful so the outside area and outside kitchen weren't in use, but looked like a lovely place to spend a warmer evening! Poble Neu is very small with limited options for eating and I didn't see any shops as such (it may be that shop vans serve the village), however there was a small Sunday market where you could buy bread, fruit and vegetables. The Ebro Delta is beautiful and teeming with birds so I plan to return to La Llar de Laura for a longer stay soon!
