Well cooked fish and chips with great coleslaw all in a shed a short walk from Strahan centre. Well worth the extra walk.

Had the most enjoyable dinner so much so we went back the following night. A good selection of meals and wine particularly the early bird meals which are just right for the not so hungry. I had such high hopes for this place as the breakfast menu sounded awesome, however we had to wait awhile to be seated and then once going through the hot selection it was easy to see it'd been sitting there a long time. Everything was overcooked, soggy or tough. Only enjoyable parts were in the cold selection and I really just ate because I paid $27 each for breakfast and because I was hungry. Suggestions I'd make to them - cook smaller quantities and replenish more often, check your produce - strawberries were old and some had mould, be more attentive to patrons (we felt a bit neglected waiting for someone to come out of the kitchen to serve us. A lot of potential here but missed the mark for me.
