Only went for lunch. Book in advance. Probably 9-10 tables, not more than 30 places in all. Also has a bar. It's central, the food is great, the service as well. Only tried the daily menu, but never was disappointed (been there for more than 10 times in the past year). A meal comprising a large drink, soup, salad and main dish followed by coffee is no more than 25 CHF. Semi-old-fashioned but quiet and comfortable. Service is fast and food is simple but good.

Siamo stati a cena lassÃ¹ a Mex paesino molto caratteristico e molto panoramico. La scelta non Ã¨ vastissima ma il cibo Ã¨ buono e ben servito. Siamo stati fuori nella comoda e bellissima terrazza in legno. Avevamo prenotato per un'altra cena ma un contrattempo ci ha tenuti in basso, nella valle.

Lâancien cuisinier nÃ©gligÃ© et nÃ©gligeant, est seul responsable de mon prÃ©cÃ©dent commentaire Â«cuisine Ã©pouvantableÂ» du mois de juin. En septembre, nouvelle visite, nouveau test: plus rien Ã voir avec la mauvaise expÃ©rience de juin. Les produits sont frais, cuisinÃ©s sur place (mÃªme la sauce salade est maison, câest plutÃ´t rare Ã notre Ã©poque?!...) et soignÃ©s. Accueil respectueux et chaleureux, le restaurant, la cuisine, le cuisinier, les wc sont propres. Patron et personnel trÃ¨s sympas, ouvert au dialogue. Comme quoi, il nây a que les imbÃ©ciles qui ne changent pas dâavis... Le restaurant la Fontaine Ã Monthey est vivement recommandÃ© si vous souhaitez passer une agrÃ©able soirÃ©e Ã tous points de vue!
