Reviewed By Stephen MResorts World is a very nice casino with very accommodating staff. The restaurants within the Casino are good to average but not spectacular. The Steak restaurant is a tier two/three steakhouse and needs to be upgraded. Comparable to a “Firebirds”,etc but not Even close to a NY City,Chicago or Vegas style steakhouse. Bars are great. Great accommodations whether it’s the Main hotel or Alder.

Very poor experience
Reviewed By R7437QSbobdMy family and I have been coming to this resort for 40 years. That’s correct. Multiple times each year and for forty years. We absolutely loved the Villa Roma and mAde great memories. Over the past decade the hotel has gotten worse every year. This place was never a five star resort and the rooms all need a major overhaul. Nevertheless, we could look past the age if they simply maintained what they have. The housekeeping is abysmal and we actually started to bring our own cleaning supplies. Linens don’t fit the bed and have staining. Basic maintenance is also non existent. When we checked in this winter our room had basic issues like a cracked toilet seat, missing light bulbs, a non working telephone, electric outlets that were hanging out of the junction boxes, etc. The pool was even shut down by the health department when we were there last summer. Forget renovations as the property maintenance has gotten away from them. When you talk to management they are always rich with excuses. Yes everyone is understaffed. But the hotels issues have been the same for over a decade. Go back and read some of the older reviews on here. You will see the same themes going back ten years. We will be back in June. I have never been compelled to write a review and really don’t feel good about a negative one. Sadly if the state of affairs are the same, a forty year tradition will be over. Let’s hope this hotel listens to their customers before it’s too late. It may already be too late for this customer and his family.

The check on staff was stellar and house keeping at the end Leslie and Shelia were the best! The checked out rooms and helped make sure we didn’t forget anything and we’re so kind and sweet. I don’t know what happened from the last visit but the over all staff was definitely a lot nicer and welcoming and smiling and greeting us at every corner. We felt loved!! Definitely coming again and again and again! Thank you!!

Breakfast buffet was good with lots of choices.Coffee weak.Female employee running buffet tried to fix the situation

Reviewed By xy2xx2I was not happy with my stay at this hotel. A dental floss pic was on the floor and a washcloth was left in the shower from the previous guests. I was not sure if the sheets had been changed.Phone in room did not work.

Reviewed By Table42Selected this property because of its location about 10 miles from Bethel Woods, where we were attending a function. Booked through a discount site and think pricing for included (ie. breakfast) and additional services (ie. bike rental) could be more transparent. That said, it met all my expectations for serenity, good food, and restful, quality accommodations. Based on the hotel's website information, we brought our own coffee maker; however, coffee was available at the front desk and in the restaurant. In-room tea making supplies were provided. We did not partake in the wellness nor spa offerings, but may have been influenced to do so if there had been more personal interaction with the staff. Including photos that may help future guests plan their trip.

Reviewed By laruepetsitterWe stayed in the main house. The room is small but had a queen bed. We checked in after 8pm and had to call someone. Our key was in the door for us. There is coffee/tea, oatmeal, and cereal in lobby. No one was in the office when we checked out just a sign to leave key in a mailbox. This is a small no frills place to stay. It was cheaper than the limited other places to stay on route 17z

A quaint, quiet place to stay.
Reviewed By Trance86A nice quiet place to stay. This is a quaint, well-kept property, with pleasant touches. My twin queen room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom was a bit smallish, but clean and all you need. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. A pretty outdoor garden.

Great hotel, great value
Reviewed By Megan FWonderful, family-run hotel, by sweet, kind people, who keep this hotel clean, and seem to be constantly upgrading. I have come here on & off for business, and it is always a positive experience. Everything seems new, from the mini-fridges, microwaves, drapes, rugs, and super clean. Toilets were even new from the last time I was there. It is not fancy from the outside, but from the inside, as I said, you will not find fault with the rooms. Always come here whenever I'm in town. The family that runs it are very honest, when I left in a hurry once, and left my tablet behind, it was saved and secured for me. They contacted me to pick it up. You just don't see that anymore.
