Madrugada Apartments are luxurious accommodations overlooking the sea or surrounding forest in Stari Grad. Free WiFi access is available and the property is 500 metres from Petar Hektorovic Palace. The designer apartments feature a furnished terrace and contemporary furnishings. They provide with an LCD TV, air conditioning and hardwood flooring. The bathroom is complete with free toiletries.

Reviewed By VernLandThe apartment is located in the picturesque town of Stari Grad, only 2 minutes drive from the old town and around half an hour drive from Hvar town. The host is half Croatian half German and was very helpful in providing us with recommendation regarding good restaurants in Hvar as well as beach locations in the area. The apartment itself was modern, spacy and had everything we needed. It had a nice balcony with a nice (partial) view on the sea. From the second I entered the apartment I felt like being a home. I am coming back soon!

Reviewed By B SApartment Ivankovic was a lovely surprise. Although it is about a fifteen minute bus/ taxi ride to hvar it is very close to starigrad. We were welcomed and fetched from the central bus station.( ps , if you need food for stay you can get it at a grocery shop right at bus station or you can check in and take a bicycle ride back for supplies). We were then settled in a spacious room. With all facilities meeting expectations. The hosts were homey and family orientated. The bonus is that you can use the bikes. We took our bikes to stari grad, and explored. Swimming in coves, ate at a local restaurant and visited the local market when self catering. Hvar was a bus ride away. We did our cave/island tour from hvar: there are local buses and taxis that run in between and bus station is right near ivankovic). The port ( Stari grad-not hvar and a Tommy hypermarket is not too far down the road ) . Stari grad itself is a quaint town, with vineyards and history. Nearby activities include relaxing on the swimming beach which is further on past the promenade ( to the right ), or you can take a bicycle ride to a quieter cove. There is also a tourist info office right near main bus stop/ and grocery store.

Servis of the owner was perfect. Thank you Jarmila for your suggestions what to see in Stari Grand and for travelling around Hvar island, eslecially to Jelsa.

Live "like the locals" in Hvar
Reviewed By carlaantoanelaMarija was a great host. She explained very well how to get to the property, was very responsive to messages and prepared homemade lemonade for our arrival. The place is spacious and has a nice balcony to enjoy the morning coffee. Walking distance to the beach, ferry port and Hvar city centre.

Fantastic new and clean apartment.
Reviewed By nattybgMyself and two other friends have just stayed here for 4 nights. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners family were exceptional friendly. They even gave us some beautiful local food that they had made for the family. The apartment is a large size and comfortable sleeping for 4 people. A double bed in the bedroom and a double bed/sofa bed in the sitting room/kitchen part. The kitchen was well equipped and kitted out with a beautiful blue theme. Everything was really clean and well maintained. There was another sofa and a dining table and still plenty of floor space. There is a balcony which we could see Stari Grad's harbour and the beautiful sun sets. You have a table and chairs along with a clothes horse to dry your clothes/towels on. Weather was beautiful so things were dry in about an hour! The location of the apartment is perfect. About a 5 minute walk to all the main part where the restaurants were along with the supermarket etc and all the other things you might need. 5 minutes in the other direction you were at an artificial beach where you can swim and sun bathe along with a little seaside cafe/bar. All in all we couldn't have stayed in a nicer place. I will definitely visit again as Stari Grad is a beautiful and cultural place.

Reviewed By Ognjen JОдличан смјештај, 5 минута хода од плаже (али заиста 5). Историјски центар града на неких 10 минута лаганог хода. Веома чисто, уредно, комфорно. Домаћини веома љубазни. На крају смо добили и ликер од вишње као поклон. Све препоруке. Excellent place! 5 minutes away from the beach, and 10 minutes from historical city center. Very clean, tidy, comfortably. Last day we got a present, cherry liqueur. Strong recommendation for this property!

Located just an 8-minute walk from the sea and Town centre. Apartments are located in a family house with a yard and a garden in the quiet street. Offers a lovely balcony with views of the mountains, garden and bay. A great choice for a short walk to market, little shops, bars, restaurants and romantic Mediterranean streets. The historical core of the Stari Grad and the cultural landscape of the Stari Grad Field were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Reviewed By Janine CApartment was large and had a washing machine. Airconditioning was only in living area not bedroom. Hot water was turned off when we arrived and there was no instructions to turn on, resulting in cold shower. No instructions for Tv which we couldn’t get to work. Spacious apartment with everything you require located a few streets back from the water in easy walking distance to the shops.

Reviewed By Eva BVi har benyttet dette stedet 6 ganger og Nives m/familie er glad når vi kommer tilbake. I år var det 5 år siden sist og da vi kom fikk jeg levert "tilbake" en strandhåndduk som jeg hadde lagt igjen for altså 5 år siden. Må nevne at det er 122 trapper opp, men litt trim kan væra greit når man koser seg med god mat i flere dager.

A VIEW TO DIE FOR
Reviewed By catharina82016Op loopafstand van de boot maar ook van de mooie kade ligt dit huis met een paar appartementen. Wij hadden de bovenste die een balkon had met een uitzicht waar je van droomt: de zee zover je kan kijken omzoomd door groen. op lekkere stoelen kan je hier eindeloos van genieten. Ook de slaapkamers en woonkamer waren dik in orde . Alleen douche-cabine iets aan de kleine kant. Er is een tuin met fruitbomen waar wij van mochten plukken, een speelweide voor kinderen. Mirko, de vader van de eigenaar, komt regelmatig kijken en is heel aardig en gastvrij. Wij gaan hier terugkomen !
