Some unusual mains and quality and quantity good for the pastas. Often find the pastas are minimal so avoid them as a norm but not here, both good quantity and quality. Can recommend the squid and tagliatelle cooked in squid ink. Said there were some unusual.

Recently June 2012 my husband and I visited Reads for dinner, we live locally so werent staying in the hotel We were ignored almost from the moment we arrived. We waited in the bar area surrounded by empty carton, it was obvious that there was a large party in the restaurant.. After 50 minutes left almost unnoticed. This took place on Friday evening.

Good service, and tasty food. Very helpful stuff. Kitchen is open whole day!There is "unlimited pork ribs" for 14.95â¬. Everybody takes it, but we tried fried fish and meat, which was OK.Definitely

The restaurant area has many faux Italian features, but not distasteful. The Food on the menu del dia was lovely, we had some surprisingly authentic Italian food. The restaurant is away from the main stretch through Sta Maria, on the smaller square. However it's the better square with plenty of parking. If you have children the square has an excellent children's play area.The inside is well presented with a waterfall in the window and decent menu. We regretted not having the tiramisu in a restaurant which must have good Italian chefs.

I had a great dinner in this restaurant with my friends. It is small cosy restaurant. True Italian place were they do their own pasta. All the tastes are on the spot. Nice selection of local wines.Friendly service and moderate price. 60â¬/person for four courses, wines and desserts. I would go there again.

This is our third review of this very special restaurant. The quality of the food, the setting and the service is truly exceptional, and remarkably consistent over the years.The only critical reviews refer to the âslowâ service - so if you want fast service, donât go. If like us you enjoy ambience in a perfect romantic setting with friends or a special person; and to enjoy a remarkable 7 course tasting experience, then you MUST visit.If you can book a room here as well, that is the ideal, because their breakfasts are equally indulgent and in a different but equally beautiful breakfast room.

Tripadvisor triumphs again! We were marooned in central Mallorca with no idea of where to eat on a Sunday evening, and TA finds us a fabulous restaurant just 8 Kms from our hotel, which hit the spot completely.We thoroughly enjoyed the home cooking which was inexpensive, well presented and delicious. The restaurant itself is cosy, attractive and romantic (it was our wedding anniversary). And the host, Tony, was informative, friendly and interesting.We also had a great bottle of the local wine, Ribas de Cabrera.Well recommended!

Tapas on a buffet, you just show your plate to the owner at the register and tell him your table number. Prices are fair, food is good. Drinks arrive fast. All staff very friendly and full of smiles. We loved this place! Stopped by for a dessert after a long beach day and were lucky enough to get a table and enjoy the amazing desserts! Staff was very friendly and the garden area was beautiful. I wish we could have gotten a table for our family event week, but for sure we will be back to this great place next time. Wine menu has plenty to offer and the menu has something for everyone on it. Make an early reservation if possible because it might be hard to get a table otherwise. 2 days a week the restaurant is closed.

We went to El Castillo on opening night. Really enjoyed the ambiance. It is a tastefully setup restaurant, with great care for detail. Also the food and staff all wonderful. We really enjoyed it. Also the fact they try and do everything to limit the environmental impact is worth mentioning.
