Bright, relaxed rooms and a Cottage with a Cape Cod vibe feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and sitting areas. Parking is complimentary, as is continental breakfast served in a casual dining room. Pleasant & comfortable
Reviewed By Joyce PWe were pleasantly surprised by this recently updated small hotel. The room, bedding, and quaint atmosphere were comfortable and soothing. The whole place is very clean and the grounds are well-kept with colorful shrubs and cute cafe seating. The lobby/cafe area is bright & nicely appointed. Breakfast included a buffet of cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, bagels, juices, coffee, tea and more. We didn't use the pool but would have if the weather was warmer because it's private and well-maintained. Situated on Route 28, we didn't hear any traffic or noise. In fact, our entire stay was quiet. The location provides easy access to many Cape destinations. The owners clearly take pride in their hotel. Easy contactless check-in and check-out.

Reviewed By M SStayed with spouse for two nights. Cleanliness was above average, and furnishings were in good shape. We had a small walk- out balcony and a distant view of the beach. Property appeared almost full. It was quiet on the whole, although the hvac had an annoying, high pitched noise at times. The nearby beach was attractive and great for walking. We didn't make use of the other amenities. Check-in and check-out were easy and fast. Would stay again.

Reviewed By wheelswillrollThe room was normal size with queen size beds. The beds were very comfortable. That being said the view was amazing! In addition to having a comfortable room, you also have a spacious patio. The Internet works great for me to get my work done which was another benefit. The room I booked was on the first floor and there was only a short step that you needed to manage if you have any walking disability or if you use a wheelchair. When you go to the patio there is one step down as well. There’s a beautiful grassy area past the patio and then there is a short staircase to the beach. Even if you can’t walk down the steps to the beach you can enjoy the beach in the ocean from the grassy backyard. And, a cute seal played right where we could see him. It’s absolutely beautiful!

Hope they open the dining room next year. The continental breakfast is a no go for golfers. A nice getaway in the middle of Cape Cod. I have been coming for 35 years. See you next year.

Reviewed By Melhog11We have been going to the Red Jacket resorts in South Yarmouth for years and have always had a wonderful time each visit. Unfortunately this past weekend (5/20-5/23) was a very different experience. During check in we were notified that they currently do not have a liquor license, this was a huge disappointment as we look forward to having one of their delicious mudslides while lounging on the beach. To add fuel to the fire the outdoor pool at the Riveria was CLOSED, explanation, “something to do with the chemicals.” HUH?? The resort is known for its blue lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels always being available to their guests while on the beach…well not this time, chairs were just stacked up and guests had to grab their own chairs, but there were no umbrellas or towels to be seen. From what I have read online, the resorts were recently sold to a company out of New York. Shame on them for not providing guests with information regarding the lack of amenities available to them. I’ll be demanding my “resort fee” back. I hope this new management puts efforts into upgrades and things get better before summers end. Best of luck to anyone going in the next few weeks.

Reviewed By Reuben16Just spent Super Bowl weekend Friday-Monday at the Village. Awesome time . We were there with friends for a weekend of card playing and Super Bowl. We really enjoyed the entertainment and all amenities. Big shout out to Annie our waitress throughout our stay. (by request) To the owner, thanks for a wonderful time and the drink on SuperBowl Sunday. The entire staff, thank you all too. Everyone was so polite and friendly. Can't wait to return. The Surfcomber on the Ocean is a small, peaceful oceanfront hotel with a private beach on warm Nantucket Sound. Run by the same family for over 55 years, the Surfcomber has 33 rooms, many with fully equipped kitchens, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a shuffleboard court and many comfy chaise lounges. The Surfcomber offers its guests free WiFi and free parking and is centrally located close to many good restaurants and shops.

Reviewed By Fyp566Went for July4 weekend. Room was spacious and clean. Could use an update and maybe a SmartTV but other than that the room had everything we needed. Can’t beat the view and location. Staff was friendly and helpful and we arrived after hours but check in was easy and smooth. Would definitely come back.

We were traveling with our 1 year old and stayed in the king suite which was beautiful, comfortable, and had plenty of room for her to stretch out and play. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and checked in with us multiple times during our stay to make sure we were happy. Great location close to a really nice beach. We’d love to come back some day.
