I had lunch there this afternoon and returned for dinner. I was VERY pleased with my selections, moreover, I was greeted by a very friendly staffer there who remembered my name from lunchtime. I was very impressed. I'm HOOKED on the "Hook and Ladder" that's fully involved; as well as, the CLASSIC MEATBALL SUB. Delicious! =Diane Perry= November 8th 2017

Locals only joint that serves up good hot dogs and sodas. Quick turns on the seating so leave your romance novel at home...eat and beat it! The hot dogs are firm and heated thru in their water bath. They aren't grilled and I prefer this method. Good chili slaw dogs too...worth the pop in gor the taste of small town South Cackalacky dining...nice peeps.Thanks we always like good honest reviews. We work very hard to maintain our quick service and quailty.

I always get the chili cheese dogs because their chili is amazing. They use shredded cheedar and steam the buns. My husband swears by the slaw dogs. The sweet tea is also some of the best around. Joey and his staff are friendly. There is usually a line every Saturday. 1000 times better than that other hotdog place in town with their unassigned, boiled hamburger meat... Austin's is where it's at!!!
