We had the steak/cheese sandwich with caramelized onions, served with awesome fries! The side salad was crisp and fresh. Having dined at few Shem Creek restaurants, this was the best food. The atmosphere is historic and charming. The marsh view of Shem Creek is lovely. The wait staff was helpful and attentive.

I love the atmosphere here. Itâs tiki, tropical and local. The food was great! We have been here before and it was also great. This time around we got:Cheeseburger (delicious and large portion)Tater tots- didnât think Iâd like them, but ate way too many! Theyâre crunchy and have tons of flavorTuna tacos - delicious and light Chicken wings- also delicious and had tons of sauce!Service was perfect and on point. The kids could play corn toss if they wanted to or check out the storybook like nature off the deck. They wanted to jump in the little creek, but thankfully didnât! :)

We were pleasantly surprised when we went to this restaurant and bar on St. Patrick's Day! The menu is so authentically Irish that I didn't know what most of the things were. We got a very good appetizer. There are outdoor activities that also seemed to be Irish games. There was a stage for live music (but we left before they started). It was away from the craziness of Shem Creek (though I like those restaurants too), but it was surprising how cool it was even though it wasn't by those other restaurants! There are tons of tv's and games to play.

Great hamburgers and good gluten free buns! Service was good and the restaurant was clean. Although the restaurant is small, they do have seating upstairs. we tried this place out for brunch. breakfast tacos are outstanding. my wife got the deep fried stuffed french toast. also outstanding. had to wait till 10 am on a sunday for booze. however it was a very good bloody mary. returned for dinner and to watch the clemson game. got the bartender burger again, really good.we returned monday for brunch. got the old village omellete filled with bacon sausage and veggies. it was really good. my wife got the fried chicken biscuts. also very good.i will go back

Really liked the atmosphere, dining on the water. Had the fish and chips for a second time and itâs very good. Seasoned batter and fish are very tasty, but also super greasy. Hush puppies are awesome and pack a little jalapeño punch. Didnât care for the blue cheese slaw, but my mom liked it. Perfect sweet tea and the servers did their job very well. Would return for a 3rd time if in the area!

Went here for a light meal with friends who had eaten here many times. Had Asian ribs and a special menu cheeseburger and truffle fries. Everything was excellent and our bst meal on this trip to Charleston. I canât wait to go back and play with the beer menu. Outstanding waitress, food, and drink.

Visited Dunleavy's Pub after being away from Charleston for 9 years. The place has not changed much (unlike the rest of the area) and still pours the best pint of Guinness in town. The only significant change I can see is that they now accept credit cards.

We frequent Poeâs regularly. Last visit we both had tacos. My husband had Mahi-mahi and I had Buffalo Shrimp and we both had onion straws on the side. Not only was it fresh and delightfully spiced, every bite had shrimp. I could barely hold them in the taco! This is a must visit on Sullivanâs Island.
