Murrells Inlet is an unincorporated area and census-designated place straddling the line between Horry and Georgetown Counties in South Carolina, United States. The population was 7,547 at the 2010 census. The community was once primarily a fishing village, but has grown substantially in modern time, along with the rest of the Grand Strand, into a popular tourist and retirement location. It is most known for the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, a ⁄2-mile-long (0.8 km) boardwalk overlooking a salt marsh and which houses many restaurants.

We are staying in Garden City and the Old Chicago is conveniently located close. The menu offers many options. Our family ordered a calzone, a deep dish pizza, and a thin crust pizza. We enjoyed our food and had enough for leftovers. We would recommend this to restaurant to anyone who likes delicious food.

This is not a fancy restaurant and a local place we decided to try with a Groupon. We prefer the casual places and this one was no exception. The service was outstanding. Friendly, efficient, and could not be improved.The salad bar is small, but quite adequate. Every item was fresh, crisp, chilled, and a good variety for the size of the salad bar. This was included in the price of the meal and was very good. We both ordered the Fish and Chips. The fries were outstanding, the fish not so much. The fist was crisp on the top, but the bottom was soggy. Possibly the hot fried fish was placed on the paper and then sat making the bottom mushy and greasy. If the entire fish had been crisp it would have been an enjoyable meal.We spend several months in the area and will go back when in the area again. We will not order the fish and will find another item for dinner.

We dined here with friends while vacationing at Pawley's Island. Bubba's has a good happy hour with drink specials. We all had sandwiches and tacos with seafood in them. The food was delicious. Not only did we get to watch boats coming in and out but we also saw a bunch of wild goats playing along the shore. There are little booths set up along the shore selling jewelry and other things.There was a band playing music as well. All in all a great night out!

We sat outside since it wasn't too hot, service was great and the view was beautiful! We had calamari for our appetizer, it was fried perfectly. Their wood fired pizza is absolutely amazing, a definite must try! My husband and I have been here many times and always thoroughly enjoyed whatever we ordered

The burgers are big and juicy just as advertised but the real treats are the HUGE onion rings. Homemade, hand breaded and deep fried. We ordered 5 onion rings and had to take 2 home!! How about that for onion rings. 2 great locations, one at Surfside Beach (our favorite) and Business 17 south on the waterfront in Murrells Inlet.Thank you for sharing your review! Seated out on open air deck. Lovely evening on the marshwalk. Music next door was a little loud but fun. Service good despite being so busy. Claw House mac was very good as was the filet mignon. The Thursday night shrimp special was amazing! Twenty four large shrimp for $20! Can't beat that! Had to take more than half home!Highly recommend!

Went with a group of friends after a softball tournament. Busy place but we were able to get a table for 10 in less than 30 minutes. Food was delicios. Band was great. prices were reasonable. Everyone had a great time!!

Friends suggested going for dinner so we agreed. Itâs a cool looking place place that overlooks the water in the Marsh, so that was pretty neat. We only waited 10 minutes for a table, so it was busy, but not overwhelmingly so. Drink prices were reasonable, but the food was pricey, and the portions were just ok. Their salad bar was nice, and the seared ahi tuna was good. I could only rate this as 3 stars due to the $38 plus pricing on meals.

Vacationing with relatives in this area, we had dinner here on our first evening in Pawley's Island. The scallops were delicious as were the sweet potato fries. Onion rings were also perfect in my book, only very lightly breaded so you had mostly onion, so good. Service was pleasant, food was surprisingly fast but the grilled pound cake was probably not worth the calories to me. Prices were fair. We might even return before the week is out.

We always try to come here at least once when we are in the area. The service is always fast and friendly! The food is very good! This time we had the shrimp and spinach appetizer, shrimp tacos, Cole slaw, French fries, shrimp basket and fresh vegetables. For dessert we had the key lime tart. Everything was delicious!
