The lake Jindabyne Hotel Is in an unique position in the centre of town and on the Lake Front.Features include onsite parking with most rooms parking at your room door.Great value bistro on site which offers generous serves for an affordable price and daily specials on the blackboard. We are an easy walk to the visitors information centre, shops, restaurants and other attractions. Step out your front door and use the path for walking or riding around the Lake. Free breakfast and wifi.

Reviewed By LongReefHackerLake Jindabyne Hotel has a prime lake front position with superb views. It's close to the newer shopping centre of Jindabyne. That is far and away the best thing about this property. The room I had was tired and badly needed renovation. It was cramped with a queen sized bed and a double bunk, even though I was a single traveller. The bathroom was so cramped I had to stand in the shower stall to close the door. It had a toilet and a shower stall but no basin. That was outside, on the other side of the door to the room, in an area that had to double as a wash basin and a kitchenette. Probably not the most hygienic arrangement! Most Australian hotels/motels provide soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and sometimes body lotion in their bathroom. This hotel provided soap only. Even though I stayed for several days, the house-keeping was lax. It was clear that the floors were not vacuumed on most days I was there. The bed was not made. The covers were just pulled up. One morning I woke to find a small dead spider in my bed. I had probably rolled on it and crushed it. I left the bedclothes pulled back so the spider was in plain view. That night when I puled the bedclothes back, the spider was still there. If you want any help on issues like this from the front desk, you need to act before 3pm each day. The front desk is closed from that time onward. Brteakfast was buffet style but again was mediocre. CXhoice of fruit juices was limited to apple or orange. Cereals were limited to 4 or 5 of the most common mass produced (probably Kelloggs) types. Bacon was overcooked, left in serving receptacles for too long and ended up floating in fat. Eggs were available poached only and were served floating in warm water, so they kept cooking until they were hard. Toast was 'serve yourself' and there were long queues to get to the two toasters available, both of which were slow. The most tolerable part of breakfast were the mushrooms which were cooked just nicely. When I next visit Jindabyne, this place will be on my 'do not use' list.

Staff were extremely accommodating - we left some clothes behind and they kindly express posted them to us! Just wonderful country hospitality. We had a covered car parking place right outside our motel unit - so convenient especially in wet weather.

We celebrated my birthday at cascades restaurant which is part of the hotel, the food and service was excellent. The second night we decided to eat in the pub section, well what a shocker.the food was that bad we sent it back and didn't eat,then the bad behaviour of the tall female staff member behind the bar was appalling it was like her boyfriend was the chef really bad attitude snatching our glasses off the table and hurling abuse at us,how does she keep her job. That was a Thursday night, we decided to go back Friday night for a drink , well what a difference, different staff different attitude they were great. We checked out Saturday morning and it was fuss free,what a shame that 1 person can have on your stay. Overall the stay was great, I hope management speak to this woman as she needs to lift her game as she is spoiling it for all the other great staff members, if not then sack her, she's bad for business. I would definitely stay there again just wouldn't eat in the pub

Everything was Great
Reviewed By 443wpService was 5 star!! Room was exactly what we needed, was clean and neat. We had 4 children under 2 so the washing machine and dryer in the apartment was very appreciated. Food was next level - so good after a long day of driving. Will definitely be our place of choice to stay whenever we travel through Cooma.

Reviewed By Tom BThe motel is located just out of town, but close enough to walk into town. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The is plenty of parking available and some rooms have lake views. We did not see any staff as they have contactless checkin.

The Ski Inn is one of the most comfortable places to enjoy your winter or summer break. Our lounge and dining facilities provide a stress-free and relaxing environment for your holiday. Our log fire and the full-width balcony work to enhance the already spectacular view over Lake Jindabyne from our motel. Free off-street parking for all guests and all of our rooms are en-suite with TV (free movie channels), full linen, air conditioned, free WiFi. Bedrooms can be anywhere from twin/double share up to five/six share depending on your requirements.

Reviewed By slash1976My family if 4 stayed here for the first time for 1 night after Perisher. We were really pleased with the room (clean and spacious for the 4 of us) and the service (dinner and breakfast included). With the lockdowns happening it was really quiet but I could tell that this place would be really packed otherwise. With such value for money, look no further. Would we go back? Hell yes!

Don't Be Deceived by its Unassuming Exterior
Reviewed By Peter LI chose to stay at iMotel because Tripadvisor reviewers had universally given it a 5-star rating and because it was $20 to $25 per night cheaper than other motels in Cooma. I'd been warned by Tripadvisor reviewers I would have to climb stairs and that spoken English was not a strength of the couple who run the motel. Both warnings were correct. I've given it a 5-star rating too. O.K., the room is small, it is dated and still in need of some renovation (the ensuite's ceiling has peeling paint, for example), it is basic, it is upstairs, the managers don't have the greatest English conversational skills...but...it was clean, it was quiet, it was comfortable (basically comfortable that is - this is not a 5-star luxury hotel!!), the bed was comfortable and had 2 sheets (not just one sheet and a doona cover - things like that are important in my opinion), I could open a window (also important to me), the tea/coffee and bathroom supplies were excellent, it's right in the centre of town (so close to pubs, restaurants, etc, which many of the other motels in Cooma are not), and the managers were extremely helpful (I'd actually booked for the wrong date - no problem, everything is OK!)...and I saved at least $20. I decided that, if I have to stay in Cooma again, I'd happily stay at iMotel again - so it deserves my 5 stars.

Reviewed By JulieH280This pub is a jewel, from the accommodation to the meals, everything is better than you could hope for. The staff are great, the bar friendly and the atmosphere is friendly. I wouldn’t even bother staying anywhere else when visiting Cooma. Well done guys.
