In our hotel-restaurant Auberge Des Deux Rivieres, we combine the rural daily life for which the Ariege is known and the wild nature of the Pyrenees, with; our hospitality, delicious classic and original modern dishes, relaxed and homely atmosphere, comfortable modest rooms with the basic luxuries, and the peace and serenity that can be found in unspoiled nature all around us. The inn features, 9 rooms (2, 3, 4 or 5 persons) each with a private bathroom, an authentic restaurant, a breakfast room, a meeting room, a garage, a cozy reception / lounge with fireplace and TV, free wireless Internet and telephone with our landline, a spacious terrace and a garden overlooking the valley and the confluence of two mountain rivers, the Alet and Salat. Here a natural formed beach provides you with the opportunity to enjoy the cold and pure mountain water. We also provide free parking, and pets are welcome, provided they do not disturb other guests, of course.

Reviewed By JFigstahI organized a small group of motorbike enthusiast for a ride through the European Union. This place was one of our overnight stays and we had a fantastic dinner, drinks, and the hosts were fabulous. The inn is rustic, so don’t expect luxury bedrooms. However, this place has an old world charm with gourmet food and drinks. The group had a great stay and the French Pyrenees was one of our highlights. Absolutely breathtaking!

Reviewed By 185DavidWReally good stay here. Cycling and cyclist friendly, somewhere safe to store bikes and somewhere to wash them too. Nice big rooms, hot shower, clean and tidy. Excellent variety and quality of foodstuffs for breakfast too.

This is a lovely small and personal campsite with a variety of accommodation options. The location is brilliant just outside the pretty town of Seix which is in walking distance or a minute's drive. The mountain views from the location are brilliant. All the facilities are very well maintained and the owners go out of their way to help with advice and tips. We stayed in a mobile home which was clean and tidy with a lovely terrace. It was a perfect base for exploring the beautiful and tranquil valleys nearby. It also happens to be within one of the most pretty valleys in the area but boasts excellent road access to other attractive valleys. The highlight though was the excellent service and warm welcome from Jean-Michel and Veronique, the owners. Would happily book again or recommend for those looking for a rural escape.

Good Value Just Outside of Seix
Reviewed By RunsAmokMy friends and I stayed at La Souleille des Lannes on a recent trip to the Pyrenees. Booking via their website was the best deal we could find on the web. Unfortunately, it is only in French. I believe they are taking more effort to include English as one of their working languages. On at least one of the nights, we were the only guests in the place (in early June), so the place was quiet. Wifi is available in the common rooms, and we weren't able to access it very well from outside during off hours. That could just be our devices though. Staff were nice during the few interactions we had with them. We arrived after the reception had closed, but a key and welcome note was left on the main door for us. The accommodation itself is older and in need of some minor maintenance. However, it is definitely habitable. If you forget to bring your own linens, you can rent them from the reception. The views from the residence are amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a budget getaway.

Reviewed By LacesLWe stayed August 2019 but forgot to review. Absolutely loved this campsite, best of the whole 3 week trip. Rural and relaxing, friendly owners, good facilities, beautiful. It is set in a fantastic area of France. Seix is fascinating and we were there at the same time as the fair and light procession. The site has all you need at the same time as maintaining a rustic feel. The scenery is outstanding. You can walk to town easily and go on nice walks. Will definitely go back again.
