Reviewed By hossein2012- very good rooms: clean with roominess - very good breakfast - long distance from train station to the hotel (we propose Hotel to define a way to help guests from train to hotel: by boat or bus or ... - very good pool and SPA - good lobby with good books and games - good entertainment for children - very good view in the room (409 room is a good choice) - the hotel upgraded room for us - the receptionists were great - the captain (shuttle boot) was great -the hotel manager was very kind to us and did a favor to us (books for my small daughter) - the surrounding of the hotel is excellent

A last minute find
Reviewed By Veg_head10I found this in a quick Google search while Mr Veg Head was driving! It is an amazing old building, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. The rooms are spacious an well-decorated, but keep a lot of the old charm. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By cleomartenJust the location very close to the town center and breakfast were ok. The beds were very unconfortable and the balcony was totally dirty (we paid more for a room with balcony)...they also forgot to empty the ashtray which was full of somebody else's smoked cigarrettes!and then there was just a half toilette paper roll for us .very poor!!! and nobody told us the wi-fi password and there was no way of finding it out because no info leaflet was in the room.

Dessert by the Sea
Reviewed By Dennis SBeen here before but never reviewed. Lovely little coffee shop. We popped in for snacks whilst walking on Niendorf Promenade. Easily found just round the corner from the small harbour, right on the seaside prom. I had some White hot Chocolate which was amazing. Lovely milky bar type flavour. Instead of snacks we had really nice desserts instead. I had some Kaiserschmarn, chunks of delicious cake covered with vanilla sauce and served with some soft fruit. My friends had a plum doughnut concoction. Proper name escapes me. It is like a big cakey doughball oozing with plum sauce in the middle. All really tasty. Staff were polite and helpful. Unfortunately it is not cheap here. 3 drinks and 3 desserts cost nearly €40 so be aware of this please. Super treat tho,after walking in the cold.

Völlig überteuert, nicht zu empfehlen!
Reviewed By Diadema1970Der Zuschnitt: Schlauch, alle Zimmer hintereinander. Zu viert richtig blöd. Ein Bett, in dem man einsinkt. Das andere rückenschmerz-hart und schief. Nur harte Holzstühle, kein Sofa, keine Sessel. Die Hälfte aller Glühlampen defekt. Keine Nachtleuchten an der Schlafcouch. Schwarzschimmel im Bad. Morgens teils kein Wasser. Uralter Kühlschrank, dessen Pumpe quasi 24 Stunden läuft und der für 1 Person ausreichend ist - nicht für 4. Balkon ohne Abtrennung zum Nachbarn, Tabakrauch im Wohnzimmer inbegriffen. Billigste Schrottmöbel. Kein richtiger Esstisch. So scheußliche Bilder überall, dass es tatsächlich schmerzt. Die Lage ist hier alles, die Inhaber (2 Zahnärzte, ein Arzt und ein Makler, alle des gleichen Namens) werden sicher auch in den nächsten Jahren zur Saison kein Problem haben, ihre Wohnungen loszuwerden. Aber vielleicht liest dies hier ja der eine oder andere. Wir wissen aus anderen Jahren, dass es auch ganz anders geht, sogar günstiger und trotzdem erheblich besser. Leider mussten wir in diesem Jahr aus beruflichen Gründen relativ spät buchen, sonst hätten wir eine uns bekannte Unterkunft genommen. Fazit: NICHT BUCHEN!

Pragtfuld morgenmad med bl.a spejlæg (2 dage), kogt æg (1 dag),stegte brunchpølser, forskellige slags ost, pålæg, jogurt/musli, marmelader, honning , rundstykker, landbrød og (1 dag) dansk rugbrød, juice og selvfølgelig kaffe eller the.Stedet kan så absolut anbefales

Reviewed By Outi MI loved my vintage and romantic room called Franz. Im sorry that I spent there only one night, Husum is a beautiful town and Lammkontor would have been a very nice to stay more nights and eating as well, they have a restaurant too. Very charming place!

Reviewed By kaysch+ the hotel is built on the main dyke and therefore has excellent views both towards the sea and towards the lakes inland + ferry terminal to North Frisian islands/holms just in front of the hotel + the restaurant is excellent, try pickled herring and north sea shrimps served on ice as a starter + free internet access. Unfortunately there is no WLAN but the staff can provide a cable + modern, spacious rooms + free bottle of water, tea and coffee + free parking + helpful staff + good value for money + in front of the hotel there is also a shower to clean the feet after some walking in the seamud at low tide
