A lot of people, and a bit noisy. The food was really good and they treated us with ouzo. Not a place for talking and taking time.

Nearly put off by the outside view, but through the archway there is a parking place for guests and the entrance to the restaurant. Tables by the windows look over the tidal river Eider. Reservations are recommended as this is a popular restaurant with limited seating. Good menu and the house wines are very good. In August, suggest eating between 19:00 and 22:00

Stayed in Tönning at the harbour and had dinner at this restaurant at the harbour. The place is very nice and service very nice and personal. We had the fish selection plate. A huge portion of 3 different kinds of very fresh fish, and not very expensive. Can strongly recommend this place

If you want to eat daily lunch or a nice Wiener schnitzel than Roter Hahn is the place 2 be! Food is good / atmosphere is nice and beer is cold!

Very nice place on the way to Husum.Local fish specialities, salmon on top of hall, served with many different sauces and side dishes.A pit stop MUST be done here to taste it!

Excellent little restaurant well hidden behind the Eider dike. The building is more than 200 years old with some very interesting old style tiles on the walls and original furniture. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere (especially outside in the garden) is very enjoyable. The food is excellent.

Very disappointing. Fish was Not tasty, didn't taste like fresh fish, maybe frozen too long before fried. Same thing for the Schnitzel-tasted like carboard! Expected well-prepared fresh fish in this restaurant that supposed to have fishdishes as a special! And how wrong can you go with a Schnitzel?
