Reviewed By WorldTraveler919Try to book early to get a balcony room. From that room you have great views of the lake, as you are on a hill overlooking the area. Simple continental breakfast. Friendly owners, comfortable room. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolut disappointment
Reviewed By albrodzI booked the room for two people under condition they will add the extra bed for our child. It was confirmed by mail but when we arrived the owner said he has no confirmation for the extra bed and the room is too small to add the bed. There is no other room available.so we had to sleep in one bed all of us. The noise isolation is not existing. The bed was freshly changed but that's all. Furnitures plenty of dust, spider webs in fhe bathroom. We did not try the restaurant simply because we were upset the eay the manager treated the issue with the extra bed and decided to eat in the village ( several nice local restaurants in 5 minutes walking distances). The swimming pool was ok , small but with nice views. Anyway, this hotel won't see us again.everything is old and not maintenanced.I can understand the refreshing costs the money but correct cleaning and friendly and professional approach is a must.both of them are missing.

Chambres d'hôtes, B & B In the basement we have one room for 2-3 people (La Tulipe 1) and a double room (La Tulipe 2) sharing a luxurious bathroom with toilet and shower. The rooms have been remodelled recently, are tastefully decorated and have big clean(!) beds. On the ground floor we have a room for 3 people, with hot and cold water and adjacent toilet. If the weather permits, we serve a proper Dutch breakfast outside in the morning sun.

Reviewed By pedatamariaMy husband and me, have been in La Tulipe first time on august 2008, the last time from the 9th to 10th of july 2016. La Tulipe is located in a very good position, it ios easy to reach Savine village end there is a very good view on the lake. Alie and Hans meet you smiling and get you immediately confortable. It is a very good accomodation and very well managed. The breakfast is like we appreciate: very rich and complete, the eggs are special every day cooked in a different way. Last but not least special mention to Alie's the home made marmalades: they are super! The simpathy and cordiality of our guests are the better ingredients for a special holiday we will never forget.

Lovely setting, but badly needs updating
Reviewed By AlcabeWe stayed for a couple of nights B&B. The pool was great, as was the jacuzzi. The service was patchy; it was quite often difficult to find any staff at all. The waiter in the dining room the first evening was great; the second was passive aggressive. There wasn't enough decent bread either morning even though there weren't many people staying at the time. The breakfast staff were not very welcoming. Wifi was only available in the reception area. The bar was cheap, which is a plus. The apartments were OK but definitely needed refurbishment, especially the bathroom areas. A good solution on a limited budget.
