Perfect location for a short stay right before leaving or after arriving at Keflavik Airport
Reviewed By Resort05465017811We booked a small cottage for our first night in Iceland, and were very happy with the choice. The cottages are small but cozy. The beds were not the greatest but comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep (although you won’t manage to darken the room completely during Icelandic summer; just get used to it or bring a sleeping mask). The two shared bathrooms were very tidy and the showers were great. The shared kitchen is very well equipped, modern and super tidy. There are two large fridges: One for private stuff, and one communal one, where many people who spend their last night in Iceland here leave their leftover food that can be used for cooking a meal if you haven’t yet had the chance to go shopping. Overall, we can highly recommend this for 1-3 nights in Iceland, especially just after arriving or before leaving. It would also be a nice base for short expeditions around the southwestern peninsula Reykjanes.

Amazing, quite, perfect.
Reviewed By 867nigelcMyself and my wife had an amazing time staying here. The lodge is only 15 mins from the airport but there is zero aircraft noise. If you're going in winter this is a good choice as the weather can be extreme and roads become very tricky so it was nice to be not too far away. It is also convenient for the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon and Reykjavik. The cabin is very easy to find and so warm and cosy. The hot tub was brill, a real experience in the Icelandic winter. Everything you need is in the lodge but be aware there is no freezer or oven, just fridge and a hob/microwave. This didn't bother us at all as we shopped accordingly and there was a large freezer outside! Katrin is a fantastic host and came to help us in our hour of need when the snow came down heavily and we needed help getting out. We couldn't fly home on our due day due to the weather and had to stay an extra 24 hours, Katrin very kindly let us stay and didn't charge us for the privilege. For the price, standard of accommodation and location, you cannot go wrong here. Thank you so much Katrin, we're missing it already.

Lovely cabin!
Reviewed By blueskiestoyouLast stop on a wonderful vacation. We stay there because it was very close to the airport as well as the blue Lagoon. Katrin, the owner, stopped by as we were leaving and was extremely friendly. The cabins are very well appointed, best we experienced on our entire trip.

Reviewed By Monika BThis is a fully equipped, clean and cozy place, with a nice bedroom, comfy bathroom and a kitchen. When you arrive, the hot tub is waiting for you! We visited Iceland in march, so the weather wasn't excellent - this was the best option for relax, especially to spend the last night on the island! Hosts, Jolanta and Ingimar, are really helpful and very nice. So if you are looking for a nice place nearby the Keflavik airport, this is the best choice!

Reviewed By 338tinnesHet goede v deze camping is de locatie. Dicht tegen Blue lagoon en luchthaven. Ik zou er wel niet langer blijven dan 1 nacht. Is een typische doorreis camping. Wifi aanwezig. Er zijn ook wc en een douche.

And this was one of the best properties we had while we’ve been in Iceland . Wished we could have stayed longer . The kitchen is well furnished and the bathroom is just awesome and it’s a shared one !
