Reviewed By dona421The Trip Advisor entry includes the hotel's claim that it was recently remodeled. Does not appear to be true. Property appears old and depressing. Sofa in our room was like sitting on a vinyl bench seat. Interior need a lot of patching and paint. Rooms all have exterior doors to the parking and is a fair distance from the office. San Angelo is home to a military base and a university. Based on the number of Bud Light bottle caps in the parking lot and flower beds, I would assume this is a party property. Room rate includes breakfast at an attached diner called Roxie's. They have a "hotel menu" to choose from which only has about four items. This too, was less than impressive. My next trip to San Angelo will find me in an alternative to this property.

Could be a lot cleaner
Reviewed By phyllismL7330WLDisappointed in the room . Bathroom not great shower head didn’t work ! Knicks in the tub and cracks on the wall tiles were dirty ! Floor needs a cleaning job mini fridge was ok ac unit made a noise all night long .this room acepta pets! The air conditioner need maintenance upkeep room was cool at first but we all got hot! Trip to benchmark was not what we expected ! We usually stay in better motels but not this one ever again . San Angelo has gone to pot !

Terrible customer service and mentally unstable from desk clerk.
Reviewed By Bdayle08booked 2 rooms at the motel 6 yesterday and checked in dropped off my clothes and immediately went to the lake. After returning 2 hours later the ac units weren’t cooling properly and upon further inspection didn’t have filters on the inside unit which I have video of proving. I went to the front desk asked to be moved rooms or a refund and was decline. At that point she said I threatened her and called the police. I looked directly at the customer in the lobby with me and he immediately confirmed I didn’t threaten her. For a customer to be treated this way after it was their employee who used curse words in front of 2 guests is terrible. I’m gonna to contact the police as well and get body camera footage showing them confirming I absolutely didn’t threaten anyone and get the customer statement that was inside the lobby with me as well.

We are close to The Bosque along the Concho River, Concho Riverwalk, San Angelo State Park, Angelo State University, Fort Concho Museum, Railway and Heritage Museum of San Angelo, the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, Kid’s Kingdom, Stadium Lanes Bowling Center, Angelo State University Planetarium, Angel Civic Theatre and the San Angelo Regional Airport (SJT). We offer our guests free Wi-Fi, a guest coin laundry facility and free coffee in the lobby. Red Roof Inn & Suites San Angelo is a pet-friendly hotel.
Absolutely horrible
Reviewed By janevirI accidentally booked this place, as I mis-remembered the name of a great hotel we had stayed at previously. I did wonder at the price, as it was a lot less than I had “remembered.” Yikes!! We pulled up and realized it was not the right place but we thought we might as well just stay there. We hauled our stuff up to the room and immediately were shocked by the pure ickiness of it. It was like a pimp hotel. I am immunosuppressed and am picky about cleanliness. It was run down and grimy, and just the general atmosphere on the property was scary and trashy. The photo is very misleading. We grabbed everything and got out of there. I went back in to the very nice clerk and demanded a refund, as it was not up to our standards. He was very understanding and obliged my request.

Take a walk along Concho River, roller blade or skate at the local skate park, watch the San Angelo Colts play ball at Foster Stadium, get rowdy with the San Angelo Saints or hoot and holler at any of the annual roping or rodeo events held at the San Angelo Coliseum. What ever your reason for visiting San Angelo, stay with the Best& Americas Best Value Inn.

Reviewed By S546IEjasonhThe hotel was shabby. The room smelled; really bad. The furniture was damaged, the paint was peeling. The curtins did not close properly to give privacy. In other words, the place was a total dump. Very dissapointing.
