We love our curries and after nearly two year on the road we were delighted with this one, we had the lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka masala, and a simple yet so tasty veggie dish, we were so delightfully surprised, don't judge this place on the location, it's magic.

Everything Ive had to eat has always be really good, I love pots of herbal tea and these guys dont dissapoint. Coffee is good too. Esspically when Anna makes it. The only thing they need to do it change the way they serve its a long line and wait to order. Maybe table serve to order with ipads is the go? Otherwise the staff are amazing the chefs great and I couldnt fault them. Can also take your dog and have them with you out the front.

We ate here twice last year and really enjoyed it. Not so this time. I was looking forward to having one of their interesting parmas, but they are now relegated to a parma night once a week. No special sausages or pie any more either. I ordered veg with my chicken parma and wish I hadn't-my potatoes were dried out two bit of pumpkin were Ok and the bean, pea and corn mix was over cooked and dried out and not nice. I wonder has management or the head chef changed as it was nothing related to the nice meals we had last time. Husband Russ was happier with his beef parma chips and salad.

Yes! The best in Sale.
I have eaten at a number of places in Sale and the surrounds and I was impressed upon entering this establishment with the great vibe, calm, warm (it's winter in Sale) atmosphere when you first enter through the impressive entrance.
Service? Great! Polite small talk excellent and advice for food and wine knowledgeable with Seating and table great.
Meals? We began with a tasting plate for 6 and my partner and I shared the scallops. All very, very nice.
Mains? Partner had the Pork Belly and was mildly disappointed as she is the Pork Belly Nazi in our Kitchen and the rest of us had the Eye Fillet of Beef, smoked short rib, confit of beetroot, etc., The three of us were disappointed. Only criticism, the eye fillet was great but let it speak for itself! The flavours of the short rib were so rich it just overpowered the eye fillet and all the rest on the plate. I can see it appears to be a signature dish and impressive on presentation but the flavour of the short rib was totally out of balance with the rest on the plate.
The wine list is extensive supporting the local wineries as well as providing choice at various price brackets domestic, as well as well as of shore.
I'd go back but would definitely go with a different dish for main course.

There are other pubs in Sale which are better value and quality restaurant needs a makeover very tired. Several tables close to entry very cold and windy night no protection from outdoors.
Menu interesting in that the sides are pretty much extras although the onion rings were great no hurry to return

Fabulous lunch lovely people so welcoming. We visited 3 times, wished it was more all the way from England! Best brunch ever and coffee to die for!
Salt and pepper squid and double cooked pork belly come highly recommended. Loved it all!

Had a reasonable meal over a business meeting.
The food was pretty good and of a good size.
Has basic pub grub.
Service was pretty average.
Four people behind the counter and it was not well organised.
Good selection of tap beers and pretty reasonably priced too.

The staff are polite and very helpful. The atmosphere is warm & friendly. They are one of the few places that make vegan friendly food that is not overpriced and is very delicious!
Eg. Stroganoff, Mac 'N' cheese, cake/slices. I am not vegan but my daughter is and I am happy to eat the vegan food from there with her. It is fresh & tasty.

Only after something small and quick so l ordered a couple of take away entrees. Wont do it again. One overcooked and the other cold in the middle. Not sure l would bother again.

The staff are wonderful and the food amazing. Im not a fan of the coffee but thats just my taste. The smashed Avo never dissapoints for breaky. Pet friendly area out the front for dining.
