Petit hotel confortable situe en face de la gare SNCF, entièrement climatisé a 5mn a pied du centre de Sainte Foy la grande Bastide du XIeme sciecle au bord de la Dordogne. Calme, il est possible de se garer devant tres facilement. Les chambres a partir de 46 euros la nuit sont toutes equipees de douche et WC , TV et acces WIFI gratuit. Il est possible de diner sur place sur demande. Le petit dejeuner est a partir de 7h a 6,90euros. La terrasse ombragee du cafe permets un moment de detente agreable aux beaux jours Vous etes accueillis a votre arrivee meme tardive.

Reviewed By chrisl1999Use this hotel/cafe as our local pub and for lunch/dinner. Family run, clean/tidy/friendly and great atmosphere plus bonus sit outside and watch each train come in with new visitors. Food is superb, simple quintessential french. Good prices and lovely house wine, jupilar beer.

Great food, great burger, very helpful staff
Reviewed By Jeff WWent there with 2 other couples staying at local airbnb. We had beer, wine, hamburgers and a salad. English menu was helpful. Proprietor's English was helpful too. The hamburger are steaks they grind up and then grill as requested. Medium was still plenty red and very delicious. Comes with great frys. My wife had a gigantic chicken salad that was wonderful. She felt bad she could only eat about half of it. Easy, comfortable and we will probably go back before the end of the week.

Le Cerisier, in the centre of Sainte Foy la Grande, is a beautiful early nineteenth century townhouse run as a Bed and Breakfast by Amanda and Michael. It is a sanctuary within the hustle and bustle of the outside world with its secluded walled garden and stepped swimming pool. Breakfast can be taken in the peaceful garden or in the cool of the breakfast room, should it be too hot outside. We are located within easy reach of Bordeaux, Bergerac and many of the great wine Châteaux.

The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms modern and inviting And, more importantly, the beds so comfortable and pillows are how pillows should be, supporting and comfortable, no foam filled, aged items here. The nicest touch of all though is the little home made cakes left on the beverage tray. A luxury after a busy day. This is now a favouite place to stay and we will be back soon

Great stay in a beautiful house in a lovely setting

The gite is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need We really enjoyed sitting out on the private terrace for breakfast and also to enjoy Tegan’s delicious dinners - she is a great cook ! We made use of the lovely gardens and swimming pool and also enjoyed sampling some of the lovely wines you can buy from the honesty bar The house is in a great location backing on to the river which you can walk alongside to reach the restaurants in town which are only a 5 minute walk away Great hosts who make you feel very welcome straight away

Reviewed By aroomsomewhereWe had a lovely welcome. Charlene really was so lovely and very helpful. It was a shame that while we were there it rained quite heavily, and the surrounding area (sloped) was fairly messy and muddy. I'm sure this would not have been the case in drier weather. We enjoyed our stay, the units had everything we needed, however it was a real inconvenience not being able to keep the car right outside the log cabin. The car park is massive, so parking wasn't a problem but it would have been so much better had we been able to keep our car right outside. This may not be an issue for some people, in which case this is a delightful holiday campsite.

Reviewed By 418mauricevEen hele mooie familiecamping waarbij de zeer vriendelijke eigenaren alles zelf verzorgen. Van ambachtelijk zelf gemaakt notenbrood tot heerlijke betaalbare maaltijden in de avond. De eco lodges waren prachtig met 2 slaapkamer 2 wc’s en 2 douches. Mooi gelegen, grote plaatsen en veel schaduw bij een oude watermolen. Ook het zwembad met een leuke glijbaan is de moeite. Voor vissers neem de hengel mee, want in de meertje wonen een aantal karpers. Daarbij zijn grote steden binnen dertig minuten te bereiken met de auto. Kort samengevat: een hele leuke plek.
