Basic but comfortable hotel, good food.
Reviewed By Lance1200Stayed one night here, was originally placed in an unprepared room, however upon advising the lady on reception, we were promptly upgraded, without question or hesitation. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Dinner was especially good, breakfast was perfectly acceptable. Would have no hesitation in staying again! Oh, and secure parking for our motorcycles.

An independent Citotel hotel, the Hotel Azur is part of the Logis Hotels Group and is located on the outskirts of Saint Junien. It has a large, secure, fenced car park, renovated and family rooms at an economical price. They all benefit from modern comforts, free Wi-Fi access and TV with Canal+. Dinner is served from Monday to Thursday in the restaurant, either à la carte or on the menu. The hotel also offers an evening stopover package for business stays. Breakfast is served in the form of a large gourmet buffet and can be enjoyed on the terrace in the summer. With its simple and warm atmosphere, the hotel offers all the comfort for business stays, family stays or for groups, buses, coaches, schools or associations. The Azur Saint Junien Citotel is ideally located in the Limousin region, a few dozen minutes from Limoges, the Andrien Dubouché Porcelain Museum, the Benedictine Railway Station, Limoges airport, Oradour sur Glane, Bellac, Rochechouart and Confolens. The establishment is also close to the paper mills of Saillat sur Vienne and the famous and luxurious glove makers of Saint Junien.
Good clean hotel
Reviewed By LizzyLeetonThis was a very reasonably proced hotel which is a little way out of town. You would need a car to get into the town. The rooms are clean and spacious and the manager is very obliging and friendly. The reaon I only gave it three stars was it lacked a little atmosphere and was not the typical french accomodation that we stayed in on our trip.

The breakfast this morning was incredible, Best in France so far! Close to some interesting places. Oradour sur glane being 1 of those Thank you ?

Sylvie is a warm and charming host who welcomes you into this beautiful house. Everything is meticulously presented but in a beautifully charming and relaxed atmosphere. The room was stunning and breakfast was truly excellent! Sadly my schedule did not enable me to sample dinner but I will next time. The whole experience was so good that I have already booked another visit.

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND GOOD FOOD
Reviewed By COLUMABI have been staying a couple of times a year at the Comodoliac for the best part of the last twenty five years. The rooms are good value for money, clean and charmless, and the food is excellent. Despite its being close to the main road, the rooms are quiet.

Not to mention the way we were received, the room itself which is spotless clean, the breakfast, the hosts which were so nice and welcoming. A shame we stayed only for one night. Everything is so nice, so quiet, so sweet and so beautiful. A marvelous find. Perfect and thank you for existing.

The domain Georges V has 3 bedrooms. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms « Anais » room and « Roxane » room. It’s for two peoples each have bathroom with toilet and a big dressing, They open into a large terrace with swimming pool. A gym room is open for our guest. The « Fanny » room is in the 1sr floor is accesible by a glass stairs.

George and Carol are great hosts, the property was very clean and stylish and we had a good breakfast. George kindly recommended and booked a local restaurant for us. Highly recommended.

Stay for a night, don't want to leave!
Reviewed By chiefcorrespondentWe stopped the night here as a half way point to the South of France. Our hosts, who transformed the ancient cow shed into a beautiful home in 2003, were a delight. They were especially kind in helping us to get damaged tyres replaced on our car. We stayed in a two room apartment. It was perfect for our family of four and our dog, who was also given a warm welcome. The setting is superb. You can walk around the horse farm. There is also a characterful gite for weekly rentals. Breakfast was wonderful home made jams (even kiwi from a vine on the terrace) with croissant, bread, fruits, etc. All very tasty, and added to the excellent value for money. Wish we could have stayed longer! One point. The nearly restaurant, Lauryvan, is a convenient dining option. However, we had very poor service and average food. See my review for info.
