Reviewed By mrsnanamWe have stayed in this hotel and can’t fault it. We have eaten in the restaurant many times including a 70th birthday party. There was always an excellent menu, well cooked, good service and reasonably priced. Very sadly having returned twice in the last few months we were so disappointed. The menu is small- 4 starters and on both occasions they were unable to provide one of the chosen items. Service is poor, food not well cooked even if it was available. The restaurant is in such a lovely setting but frankly it’s really not worth going so disappointed. Maybe new management definitely new staff - how they’ll cope at high season I don’t know!!!

Great camping!
Reviewed By MartijnD1992Stayed on camping Domaine des Pins this July. It’s a nice camping with cosy and clean bungalows. The camping is quiet which makes it ideal for families. There’s a nice outdoor and indoor swimming pool, with a bar/restaurant next to it. Also there are alot of fun activities nearby, such as the Dino Park. Would definitely recommend this camping! 3rd stay at excellent site!
Reviewed By katrionaj2020Just heading home after another fantastic stay at this campsite! This is our 3rd stay at the site, but our first since the site changed hands. We weren't sure what to expect with the new management, but we weren't disappointed. The site, as always, is well kept. Some washing facilities were limited due to corona virus, but that's to be expected and not a problem. The pool is lovely and not too crowded, the site is right on the beach, and close to nearby shops and attractions. There is also a bus stop right outside for those wishing to use public transport, and plenty of cycle lanes for those who, like us, enjoy a bike ride. The majority of the other guests are French, but the new owners and staff speak more English than the previous ones, and have considerably better language skills than us, so we felt very at ease. The new owners are very friendly and really seem to work extremely hard to enhance every guests visit and they do a great job. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We ate at the restaurant and the food was lovely, as were all the staff. Best waffles ever tasted according to our daughter, who knows a thing or two about waffles. Our youngest (boy, age 7) loved the playpark and the kids discos. Our eldest (girl age 11) loved the pool. I loved the cocktails at the bar! There's plenty going on at the site and, although we didn't participate in all the activities, I'm sure we would've been made more than welcome if we had! We will definitely be back next year, and I thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a site in this area.

Ces prestations de qualité vous sont proposé dans un cadre arboré, en lisière de forêt, à seulement 800 m de la plage et à 400 m des commerces. Le tout accessible à pied, à vélo... Sentier à travers la forêt. Nous proposons la location de mobil-homes et chalets neufs ou très récents. Equipés de 2 à 3 chambres, avec tout le confort souhaité. Les campeurs s'installent sur des emplacements spacieux et délimités (caravane, camping-car, tente). Nombreux services : laverie (payante), barbecues (gratuits), couverture totale WiFi (payant), location de linge et kit bébé. A très bientôt au Domaine des Salins !

Reviewed By dcjackoSpent 3 nights here having booked 4. Had to leave early because of family illness. The site is immaculate, the staff are mylti lingual and very helpful. Sanitaires are new and very clean. Location is a bit out but a 15 min cyvle ride on nice paths into St Jean de Monts. Will return sometime without doubt

Our residence is located 1 km from the beach and is set in grounds of about 2 hectares , fully enclosed . The residence is quiet , near the forest and fn sandy beaches of Saint Hilaire de Riez . Holiday village open all year , weekly rentals or weekend ( except holidays ), come and enjoy the indoor pool and heated to 28 ° C (open from late March to early November) , sauna, fitness room , tennis court , mini- golf, a family atmosphere , and animations during the school holidays ...

Reviewed By DubtoneThis is our third year running at Le Hameau de L'ocean and it was excellent from start to finish. The venue is ideal, the staff are very attentive and the atmosphere is perfect. The facilities are great with plenty to do from swimming to beach volleyball, it has everything.
