Reviewed By derekhK3813YDOn several visits we were seated in the outside shaded terrace and twice inside the restaurant which has sufficient space to be Covid secure. The menu of the day was quite exceptional in its variety, quality and value.

Beautiful site and superb location
Reviewed By Louisa EStayed here for 2 weeks in August 2018 Very nice site and very well located for all the main sites (Dordogne river valley, Saralat, Lascaux, Beynac, Castelnaud, Erignac, Commarque, etc) The cabins were simple but fine for a short stay. The kitchen is small but fine to cook basic meals. A little extra storage space in the main room would be useful (a few extra shelves) & so would an electric kettle but otherwise ok. No need to bring bedlinen or towels as these were supplied. Plenty of hot water, although not much power in the shower spray. Nice activities organised all week long in the evening (cinema, circus, disco...) The main building is very lovely and overlooks the pool with its bar balcony. The pool is great for children as it had lots of shallow areas. Everything was clean A few extra parasols/sun shades in the pool area would be useful. The staff are friendly. There is a restaurant on site serving snack food & meals, we ate one night and it was good. Very happy with the site & holiday. One of our best family holidays (2 adults, 2 children 6 & 10)

Reviewed By Connector57777591076This is a presumably working farm, they have ?converted a building and modernised it. Comfortable bed, clean room, heating (if required), lovely electric roll down shutters,v.dark at night if required, usual toilet and showers. Meals available though only had breakfast which was usual French with v. nice jam. The hosts were super helpful and v. chatty, though speaking more French on my part would have helped. Near main road and fully stocked supermarket about 3km away, a good stay.

Quiet location. Very basic room
Reviewed By Antonio CFarm is in a quiet location. Room have a very basic furniture but everything was clean. Nevertheless with air conditioning, the room and beds were too hot. Maybe because the room was in the first floor with more solar exposure. Double bed was uncomfortable. Very basic breakfast (6€ per person) without cheese or ham. Just one croissant, white bread with butter and jam, coffee or tea, milk an artificial orange juice.

Reviewed By Traveller7894Acabamos de pasar unos días en este chambre d'hôtes. El edificio es una maravilla de casa antigua muy bien decorada, con un jardín grande y muy cuidado. El trato por parte de los dueños es excepcionalmente bueno, con un trato muy amable y abiertos a cualquier necesidad de los huéspedes. El desayuno es una delicia, abundante y con productos de primera calidad: croissant, yogur riquísimo, mantequilla y mermeladas, queso, pan recién hecho, zumo de naranja, café y té; cada día cambia algún componente (por ejemplo, distintas variedades de queso). Y servido o en el jardín o en el comedor, ambos perfectos para disfrutar de las viandas en un entorno tranquilo y apacible. Esta chambre d'hôtes solo acoge cada vez a un grupo de huéspedes (entre 2 y 4), por lo que se disfruta del establecimiento de forma exclusiva, lo que lo hace muy tranquilo y más agradable si cabe. La casa está situada a unos cientos de metros del pueblecito (Sant-Geniès) y está rodeada de un entorno natural precioso. Sant Geniès es pequeño, pero con un casco muy bonito.
