Novotel Sydney International Airport is conveniently located near both the international and domestic airport terminals, adjacent to the 18 hole Kogarah Golf Club and only 15 minutes from the city centre. Situated on the Cooks River and surrounded by parklands, the hotel features 271 modern accommodation rooms with no disturbance from plane take off or landing. Convenience is ensured with Wolli Creek train station a 8 minute walk away as well as a Bar and Restaurant on site. We have an external shuttle service running at the hotel for a fee.

Lovely views but that’s all, give it a miss!

Yes the room was bigger and had a small sitting room BUT it was old, tired and not clean! There was wallpaper peeling off the wall, grease and grim around the air conditioner and taps from the 70s! There was a TV in the room with the beds and one in the sitting room - both were ancient, had poor quality signal/picture and remotes that only worked some time! Even the hallways and lifts were worn out and very grimey! Two positives, friendly staff and the view but this would not make me come back again - a definite ‘find something nicer for cheaper’!

Reviewed By RicerDromoreStay away from this hotel. We arrived and were given a room on the ground floor where there had recently been a sewage leak!… and we were still assigned that room. Needless to say you could not have stayed in the room. The receptionist claimed she didn’t know about the incident (even though there were a couple of dehumidifiers in the hall outside the room and the room and adjacent hall were damp and smelt badly) and we were assigned a different room which was acceptable. I really don’t know how this hotel gets 4 stars. Please consider other airport hotels.

Don't bother looking at the photos on here, they are very deceiving and obviously have not been updated in years! NO Sleep due to constant noise from trucks going past all hours through the night. NO onsite parking, only a small car park 2mins up the road. Not Ideal at 2.30am in the morning when its raining with 4 heavy suitcases and 2 kids :( Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else!

Kingsgrove Hotel is a brand new property conveniently located opposite Kingsgrove Railway Station, 12 minutes from the airport. All rooms have modern furnishings with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning & free WiFi.

The food was very nice and portions were very big . The chicken Schnitzel was very big and really nice and tender , the chicken burger was very nice too . We would return if we are here again .

Noisy, but cheap & clean
Reviewed By tsarzanThe Bexley Motel is actually an old warehouse owned and run by the Forrest Hotel (pub) across the road. There is no on-site management or reception. Everything is handled by the pub. The upstairs rooms are well-appointed and fairly new. Kitchenette, bathroom (shower only), air-con, large screen TV. There is a fully appointed kitchen/laundry that is available for common use. Room service is once a week. For $370/week in Sydney, this is good value, but you get what you pay for. The bottom level of the building is being turned into similar motel rooms & the noise from this starts at 7.30am and continues to mid-afternoon. Not to be outdone, the house two doors down which has been getting built for several years, will provide you with equally ear-splitting noise at any time between 8am-7pm. Although the appointments of the motel rooms are nice, you know you are actually on the top story of an old warehouse every time someone walks by and the floor shakes. Sadly, the price also attracts its fair share of undesirables. Loud domestic arguments in the next room are regular. Management are good about sorting them out when they are alerted to it, but that involves ringing the pub and getting the bar staff to put the manager on, or walking over there yourself in the middle of the night. Good value, especially if you are not here 8-5, but don't expect quiet if you are here then.

The décor is light and easy, and the comfy beds help ensure a peaceful night's sleep. All facilities are shared, including separate male and female showers and toilets, including a self-sufficient kitchen, lounge and dining areas. In addition, all of our rooms area supplied with Foxtel, tea and coffee. We hope to see you soon at the Grand Hotel, Rockdale!
Rock on down to the Rockdale Grand Hotel
Reviewed By Normandy CI needed emergency accommodation due to my late night flight being cancelled. The Grand Hotel Rockdale was ideal for me as it was relatively value for money (for an unexpected overnight stay), close to public transport to the airport (via bus or train), close to late night eatery and local stores to get emergency supplies. This isn't a fancy accommodation but you'll get a decent night sleep and refresh in the shared bathrooms.
