My wife and I dined at Olly's Pizzeria in Woonsocket, RI recently. We were both favorably impressed.We shared a small pizza (with meatballs) and also shared the Barcelona Penne (pasta with chicken and shrimp). The pizza was very good -- I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. However, the Barcelona Penne was excellent -- 5 stars out of 5 stars. The sauce on the Penne was one of the best sauces I have had on pasta.From a January 2015 review on valleybreeze.com:"A popular local eatery got a complete makeover last month, with floor to ceiling renovations accompanied by a new, weekend dining concept.Olly's Pizzeria is now serving up classic Mediterranean cuisine in a more intimate space to dinner guests on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays."Another excellent item was the hot coffee. While coffee can be an individual taste item, it was one of the best cups of coffee I ever had -- and I have had many cups in my lifetime. We asked the waitress the brand and she said it was Green Mountain.We had a server who indicated it was her second day on the job. However, she was excellent -- friendly, efficient, and thoughtful. A good hire.Okay, three suggestions:1. We sat at a table for two. I suggest that at some point replacing this table. It was way too small and it was fixed to the floor and the chairs were fixed to the floor (not sure if this was the only chairs that were fixed to the floor). Not enough room on the table.2. Suggest they add some veal dishes. We have a favorite Italian restaurant in Johnston, RI -- Pat's -- and they have delicious veal parm. I think that the three reasons it is so good is they buy high quality veal, they have a machine with needles they use to break it up, and they have excellent sauce. Olly's has an excellent sauce so they only need the other two items.3. A nice touch would be to offer cheese that is grated over the penne by the server.Another thing that makes for a great restaurant. Flexibility when ordering. While the menu did not indicate that you could order pizza with meatballs, they quickly were agreeable to putting the meatballs on the pizza.We will return.I think the three recommendations would enhance this fine restaurant. Highly recommend.

Had reservation for Saturday, was seated in back cramped corner next to large party of loud drunks. Had to ask for a waiter after we waited one half hour. After even longer wait received overcook veal, and under cooked pasta. There is aldente then theres raw.HelloI do apologize for your experience. Our guests are always able to request to move to a different table. Were you able to do that? Iâm sorry about your veal and pasta did you tell your server about your complaints? Please let me know. We received a menu in the mail over the weekend and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food not to mention the price as well. We will certainly be ordering from them again. We had chicken parm and meatball and sausage sandwiches. The next test is pizza. One more thing the delivery was much faster than what was quoted. The only downside was we were charged $2.00

This restaurant is a classic Italian restaurant. Not American-Italian, but Italian. The place was crowded on a Wednesday night and it took about 15 minutes to get seated. Our waiter was very good and impressed me by naming off about 6-7 specials from memory. Started with stuffed mushrooms - excellent. We all ate from the specials menu. I had the filet of sole with risotto. Food was plentiful and very good. Risotto was excellent. No room for dessert. Great restaurant that will eat at again next time I'm in the area.

I visited the Woonsocket Papa Ginoâs for take out pizza, my 12 year old grandsonâs favorite pizza.And while the pizza was good, the French fries were awesome. They were very crispy, fresh and hot.We also loved the mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, crispy and delicious.The staff were efficient and helpful. I will visit again.

We went to an event at the Savini's Pomodoro. The place was packed and jumping, so a lot of fun ambiance and very lively. The food was good and plentiful. Nothing outstanding, but no complaints either. I do recommend this place for a good evening.

Stopped in to redeem a happy birthday certificate for $10 off any meal when I joined the River falls frequent diner rewards, had the steak tips with green beans and peppers and Parmesan mashed potatoes everything was prepared just as ordered and was very delicious teriyaki
