A very nice comfy restaurant with good food and service. The location is good and all of our meals were tasty accompanied by a decent if a tad expensive primotivo but on holidays so whatever....the menu is mainly italian style but there are other options to suit most people's tastes.Hi Jamie, thank you very much for your nice words. We were here recently with friends and had a very good meal and nice experience. The owner entertained us and was not short of personality as well. Everything was well done and explained on the menu and the gnocchi was of particular interest. We will definitely be back next time were in town.

Always among our choices when we are not in the mood to cook at home. Here you can find (in our opinion) Italian food cooked by an Italian family adapted to the German taste. We have always experienced a friendly service and dishes made with fresh produce.

We had dinner here with our family of eight. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome in their very nice and modern decorated restaurant. Everyone really enjoyed their pizza or pasta and the kids got some special attention which was very nice. And the desserts: delicious! We loved it and would recommend this restaurant. If we are in the neighbourhood we will definately have dinner here again!

After sightseeing the centre of Trier, this is an excellent Italian restaurant to finish your day, if you like authentic food. We shared a big Insalata Caprese, that was not the real thing but (fair enough) still a delicious salad. As a main we had Gnocchi al Noci and Pappardelle Pescatora, both fresh and home made. The portions were too big to finish, so we did not try a dessert. The staff was understanding and offered a grappa from the house: great gesture and good digestive. Staff was very attentive and friendly and the bill more than reasonable. We love to come back!

Yes, the owners are not Italian (they come from Albania), but the food is authentic, and the pizza very good (although not necessarily the best in Trier and the region, but very close) Excellent prices and home delivery available.

This is one of the three restaurants with Italian/Mediterranean specific in Schweich, and the most popular of them, although, if you know Italian food, you will never understand why there are so many patrons in the room. The food comes literally piled on your plate. The "Antipasto alla Pescatore" is a pile of tuna fish from the can, raw mini shrimp, cold hard boiled egg, salad and tomatoes. Salad and tomatoes were OK, fresh. The pizzas, however, were a disaster. Mine, Pizza Contandino, came topped with Prosciutto di Parma and rocket - both fresh. But underneath, what was supposed to be a stone oven baked pizzas, was, in fact, something cooked in a bath of oil. There is no way a stone oven baked pizza looks as if it was fried in a pan. They had the decency not to charge me for a pizza I couldn't eat, but they were offended when I complained, claiming that they've been serving the same pizza for over 30 years. They did not. In fact, when I dined here in August 2013, the pizza was good.

⦠war unser Besuch, ohne Reservierung bekamen wir von einem netten Service sehr freundlich einen Tisch für 2 Personen zugewiesen. Man sollte jedoch etwas Zeit mitbringen, es dauert eine Weile bis die Gerichte auf den Tisch kommen. Die Speisen sind von sehr guter Qualität und groÃe Portionen. Vorspeise Bruschetta mit Tomaten - Antipasti Vegetarier und als Hauptgang Spaghetti Marina - Scampi vom Grill, alles Frisch zubereitet (Heià am Tisch) sehr, sehr lecker. Gute Italienische Weinauswahl. Zum Abschluss einen Espresso (Perfekt). Gerne Wieder .... auch mit Freunden oder Bekannten
